Vielmehr verfügt die Chipkarte 1 über eine geeignete Spule, um in duktiv eine Datenübertragung zur Datenträgerleseeinrichtung herzustellen. Form und Größe dieser Spule 9 bestimmen den Leseabstand. Berührungslos les- und beschreibbare Chipkarten sind als solche bekannt. Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Chipkarte 1 jedoch zusätzlich an einem der außen zugäng lichen Randbereiche mit einer Kontaktzone 3 versehen, welche mit dem Kontaktierbereich des Mikrocomputerchips 8 in elek trischer Verbindung steht. Hierfür sind elektrische Leitungen a, b, c, d, e, f, g und h mit dem Mikrocomputerchip 8 in elektrisch leitender Verbindung. Diese Lösung hat den entscheidenden Vorteil, daß über die weitere Kontaktzone 3, die im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel stirnseitig an der Chipkarte 1 angeordnet ist, Zugriff auf die innerhalb der Datenträgerleseeinrichtung bzw. Datenträgerschreibeinrichtung abgespeicherten Daten besteht. Zum Einstellen dieser Daten trägerleseeinrichtung bzw. Datenträgerschreibeinrichtung muß lediglich die Chipkarte 1 in diese Einrichtung eingeführt werden. Über den äußeren Kontaktzonenbereich 3 der Chipkarte kann ein externer Personalcomputer angeschlossen werden, der eine notwendige Parametrierung der Datenträgerleseeinrichtung bzw. Datenträgerschreibeinrichtung, in die die Chipkarte eingeführt ist, erfolgen kann. Die Datenübertragung zwischen Chipkarte und Datenträgerleseeinrichtung bzw. Datenträger schreibeinrichtung erfolgt im vorliegenden Ausführungsbei beispiel auf induktivem Weg.In Fig. 4 such a "contactless" chip card is shown as a further embodiment of the invention. The chip card has a microcomputer chip 8 , which is now not provided with a contact area, which must be touched by the reed device for information transmission with the data carrier reading device. Rather, the chip card 1 has a suitable coil for inductively establishing a data transmission to the data carrier reading device. The shape and size of this coil 9 determine the reading distance. Contactlessly readable and writable chip cards are known as such. According to the present invention, however, the chip card 1 is additionally provided on one of the externally accessible edge regions with a contact zone 3 which is in electrical connection with the contacting region of the microcomputer chip 8 . For this purpose, electrical lines a, b, c, d, e, f, g and h are in electrically conductive connection with the microcomputer chip 8 . This solution has the decisive advantage that the further contact zone 3 , which is arranged on the face of the chip card 1 in the present exemplary embodiment, provides access to the data stored within the data carrier reading device or data carrier writing device. To set this data carrier reading device or data carrier writing device only the chip card 1 must be inserted into this device. An external personal computer can be connected via the outer contact zone area 3 of the chip card, and the necessary parameterization of the data carrier reading device or data carrier writing device into which the chip card is inserted can take place. The data transmission between chip card and data carrier reading device or data carrier writing device takes place in the present exemplary embodiment, for example, by inductive means.
