Die Vorrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus dem Gehäusekörper a, der Matrize b und dem Stempel c. Die Matrize b ist in dem Gehäusekörper geführt und steht unter dem Einfluß einer Feder d. Die Form der Verschlußklinke ist sowohl in der Matrize als auch im Stempel enthalten. Zur Herstellung einer Verschlußklinke wird ein vorgearbeitetes Plättchen e (Fig. 4) zwischen Matrize und Stempel gelegt. Um ■ den Zapfen/ (Fig. 5) gleichzeitig mit der Pressung an die Klinke e anzunieten, wird derselbe vorher in den eigens hierzu in der Matrize b ausgesparten Raum g gestellt und das Plättchen derart auf den Zapfen gelegt, daß der Stift des letzteren durch die öffnung des Plättchens hindurchgeht. Das winkelartige Abbiegen des Plattchens e wird dadurch herbeigeführt, daß bei der Pressung die Matrize zunächst sich' senkt, wodurch das Ende des Plättchens durch den Gehäusekörper α umgebogen wird und sich in die Nut h des Stempels legt. Ist die Umbiegung erfolgt, so wird das weitere Senken der Matrize durch das Aufsetzen derselben verhindert, worauf die Sperrnase der Klinke geprägt wird. Durch die Feder d wird die Matrize nach jedesmaliger Pressung wieder gehoben. Der Stift i, welcher in einem Schlitz der Matrize geführt ist, begrenzt die von der Feder d bewirkte Aufwärtsbewegung. Mittels Zapfen k wird der Stempel, nachdem letzterer sowie der Gehäusekörper in einer Presse o. dgl. eingespannt ist, entsprechend der Matrize eingestellt und dient dann zur Führung.The device consists essentially of the housing body a, the die b and the punch c.
