Abstract

The device automatically limits the volume of fluid, e.g. water delivered to the washbasin, by a mechanism actuated by water flow. This has an impeller wheel located in the valve outlet. As the impeller rotates a transmission element turns the fluid tap to the closed position. The impeller and transmission may be designed to effect closure at a set volume.
