Clocks that have a small rate deviation and show the time more accurately than
it is necessary for everyday life, e.g. B. realized by quartz clocks. Yet
Many people prefer mechanical watches, although this is typical movement variation
of 5 to 10 seconds a day, usually about once a week
have to be asked if you have no deviation of more than a minute tole
riert. There are many reasons for preferring mechanical watches. One of
The reason is the opinion that an electrical voltage, a high-frequency change
electricity etc. directly on the body may not be good for health.
The clock proposed here links the purely mechanical drive without electri
current and voltage with the long-term accuracy of a radio clock. Two
Different types are planned depending on whether the wearer of the watch has a battery
or accepts a capacitor that is constantly charged or not.
Erster Typ mit Batterie oder ständig geladenem Kondensator:First type with battery or continuously charged capacitor:
In diesen
der Synchronisationsvorgänge, also z.
The mechanical watch switches mechanically at certain hand positions (e.g. 2.00,
3.00, 14.00 and 15.00) the electrical energy supply for the receiver of the
Radio signal and for the synchronization unit too. The synchronization unit right
the displayed time applies according to the radio signal. Then the
Synchronization unit or the mechanical clock the electrical energy supply
off again. The electrical power supply is by a battery or by a
Capacitor, the z. B. is powered by solar cells or a generator
light. The synchronization process can be switched on additionally or only by
a switch to be operated by the user. The pointer positions 2.00 and
3.00 are favorable for a synchronization, since changes summer / winter time and
Winter / summer time usually take place at these times. For a watch with a 12-hour
2:00 and 3:00 p.m. display correspond to the same hand positions as 2:00 and 3:00. The
largest interval between two synchronizations is about 11 hours. In these
The mechanical watch should deviate 11 hours from the correct time very much
stay small. Mechanical clocks are normally set to:
under no circumstances follow up. This leads to significantly greater deviations than if
you set them so that they go as accurately as possible, as in the case of radio synchroni
mechanical clock is possible. In the first type watch only flow during
the synchronization processes, e.g. B. four times a day for about one minute each,
electric currents. The electrical voltage on the battery or capacitor
is however always present.
In diesem Typ
The second type differs from the first in that it is for synchronization
necessary electrical energy only immediately before the synchronization from mecha
African energy or solar cells, z. B. by charging a con
by a generator that is driven by a tensioned spring.
The synchronization is the same as for the first type. After synchronization, the
The capacitor is short-circuited and the electrical energy is reduced. In this guy
So not only do no electrical currents flow in times without synchronization
process, but there is also no electrical voltage on a battery or one
Capacitor present. A sensible procedure for a clock of the second type is
an automatic check whether the stored mechanical energy is sufficient for
a synchronization process and a subsequent power reserve of z. B. 12 hours
to stop the clock during or immediately after synchronization
prevent operation. An extreme of a second type watch would be a watch that
as controls only a crown for the winding of the mechanical spring and
a sunken switch to prevent accidental actuation
that has radio synchronization.
