Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an adsorbent for organic liquids and a method for its manufacture and is intended to ensure the most environmental protection cause thorough cleaning of water surfaces and floors. With the organi liquids are paraffins, olefins: naphthenes, aromatics and their modifiers.
According to DE-AS 23 28 235, it is known that rubber particles from those mentioned Organics are easily wetted and thus a separation possibility on water consists. DE-PS 40 07 695 is said to decrease such an adsorbent / Adsorbates in water through the use of a "rubber mulch" with an approx. 50 vol .-% air content can be prevented. An apparatus and a method for Production of recording substrates was carried out under the file number DPA 195 06 964.1 and described as an innovation in the use of oxidic release agents Rubber flakes are suggested to make this material significant for transportation can be compressed and relaxed again when in use. In the font DPA- Akt.-Z 195 09 813.7 has also been proposed, an adsorptive incorporation of To provide cork powder on the surfaces of the substrate particles (waste rubber flakes) to counteract sedimentation in the aqueous medium.
The above solutions to mitigate and eliminate Um world hazards from ship accidents, oil production facilities at sea, undersea pipelines and river contamination by adjacent industrial companies etc. concern one of the most current and inadequately solved problems of the Energy and manufacturing industries. The accruing in the event of an accident The costs of regeneration of environmental pollution far exceed the value of causing mass of organic liquids. An inexpensive and effective Solution, which must also be characterized by fast response times, could not be realized by the above solvents.
The use of rubber flakes, made for cost reasons and for environmental relief the secondary raw materials of worn car tires, conveyor belts, machine elements u. a. obtained by machining leads to adsorption organic liquids on water surfaces due to the low benet work of the counterparties, but also that a decrease due to the relative Increasing the density of this composite material is unavoidable. As a result, that an environmental time bomb now only temporarily on the bottoms of the waters re displacement of damage causes.
The proposed use of a rubber mulch with a share of approx. 50 vol.% The effectiveness of air against sedimentation must be questioned because a competitive reaction to the adsorbed air occurs with regard to the oil adsorption got to. Because the lateral adsorption capacity of the rubber flakes in this process remains constant, it is a question of latency that the adsorbed air by the in DE-PS 40 07 695 described "oleophilic" effect displaced by the adsorbate becomes. This means that the adsorption equilibrium becomes more relative Density of the composite material must shift and sedimentation inevitable he follows. In practice, this effect is accelerated by the mechanical Energy supply due to the waves on water and bouncing effects the banks.
The powdering of the powder provided in the DPA Akt. -zeichen 195 06 964.1 Rubber flakes with oxidic release agents have the right to come pression of the adsorbent for transport purposes. Because the true density of the proposed substances talc and magnesia are significantly above that of water, in the case of the hydrophilic wetting of these substances, sedimentation of an oil loaded "substrates" even accelerated.
The mechanical adsorpti described in the document DPA Akt. -Zeich 195 098 13. 1 ve incorporation of cork powder on the surfaces of the substrate particles (rubber bottle kes) avoids sedimentation due to the low density of the cork oil-laden adsorbent. However, the liability of the rubber / cork composite without the use of chemical adhesion promoters of limited duration, which is especially with long shaking transport routes. In the case of However, loading with an oil adsorbate creates a buoyant state of the System.
This criticism of the prior art is well known in the negative features Wise an increase if - practically always present - natural surfactants or artificial sources affect the environmental disposal process.
As a task for perfecting the disposal of organic liquids According to this criticism, a clear wording for water and soil give the solution to one of the latest environmental problems:

- - Gewährleistung des Pipelinetransportes des Adsorbensverbundes vermittels Luftdruck über lange Wege, einschließlich des operativen Einsatzes in Entsor gungsräumen,- Ensuring the pipeline transport of the adsorbent network by means of Long-range air pressure, including operational use in waste disposal conference rooms,

- - Gewährleistung der Wiederverwendung des Adsorbensverbundes,- ensuring reuse of the adsorbent composite,
According to the invention, these tasks are characterized by the features of the main claim thereby solved by using defined amounts of waste rubber flakes and cork particles special binders granulated in an aggregate to certain grain bands be obtained, with a flowability of the granules and high porosity is.
The flakes produced by mechanical processing of waste rubber products the largest possible surface are applied in the grain belts 0.1 to 0.6 mm, 0.5 to 1.1 mm and 1.0 to 3.0 mm are used. The by mechani cal processing of cork material, e.g. B. from the cork oak (Quercus suber) Grain bands to be added are 0.1 to 0.6 mm and 0.5 to 1.1 mm. These Specifications refer to the longest geometry of the particles.
Can be used as hydro- and oleophobic binders because of their thermal resistance speed of the rubber / cork material only those that are not thermal Require curing. Accordingly, the system of Melamine resins, which are polymerized by a so-called "acid hardening" and with excellent cohesion also durability meet requirements. In practice, the proton donor is sufficient for this process very weak citric acid.
The mixing approaches for an adsorber composite to be granulated are theoretical to formulate on many use cases, e.g. B. from gasoline to heavy fuel oil or crude oil. The following mixtures have a standard character for many Use cases on:
- 1. 5 Masseteile Gummiflakes 0,5 bis 1,1 mm /1 Masseteil Kork 0,1 bis 0,6 mm1. 5 parts by weight of rubber flakes 0.5 to 1.1 mm / 1 part by weight of cork 0.1 to 0.6 mm
- 2. 4 Masseteile Gummiflakes 0,5 bis 1,1 mm /1 Masseteil Kork 0,1 bis 0,6 mm2. 4 parts by weight of rubber flakes 0.5 to 1.1 mm / 1 part by weight of cork 0.1 to 0.6 mm
- 3. 3 Masseteile Gummiflakes 0,5 bis 1,1 mm /1 Masseteil Kork 0,1 bis 0,6 mm3. 3 parts by weight of rubber flakes 0.5 to 1.1 mm / 1 part by weight of cork 0.1 to 0.6 mm
The other grain belts listed can be used for granulation in an analogous manner to be brought. According to this, the diameters for the granules to be separated are knives from approx. 2 to 4 mm, 3 to 6 mm, 4 to 8 mm. Through a suitable process granules up to 12 mm in diameter and those with a widened grain belt can be produced.
The mixing and pelletizing processes are useful in ploughshare mixers Multi-knife head equipment performed. Such machine equipment can be operated both continuously and discontinuously. Continuously Working systems allow inexpensive large-scale production to remain the same the quality parameters.
During the mixing and granulating process, the Binding and hardening agents injected. The mechanical process heat is sufficient usually to effect acid hardening of melamine binders. The Ploughshare mixer granulators to be used are always with a temperature riermantel equipped so that both heating and cooling powers can be transferred to the reaction system. With the help of existing which universal regulation and control devices can process parameters be optimized to machine throughput, granule size, mechanical Durability, porosity u. a. to lead in the desired manner.
