Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for Removal of coarse dirt from paint coagu lat.
Insbesondere kommen diese zur Anwendung zur Verwertung von Lackschlämmen aus den unterschiedlichen Prozessen, insbesondere der Automobilin dustrie.EP-0 484 332 discloses a method and an apparatus known for recycling residues from paint shops, which have proven to be excellent. Come in particular these for use in the recycling of paint sludge from the different processes, especially the automobile industry.
Different materials are used in the automotive industry coated in the so-called wet process. In the application of the paint on the workpiece, however, also become larger Amounts of paint sprayed past it and with a water film washed out. The paint contained in the water is often by means of chemical additives to the so-called lacquer coagulate reformulated and as a production residue from the Production process carried out. This backlog is mostly collected in open containers and for removal provided. This unlimited accessibility to the Mud collecting tanks leads to the fact that in addition to the other foreign objects entered during painting large pieces of waste in the collected raw coagulates find again.
So that these contaminated lacquer coagulates are not a special item in a landfill or hazardous waste incineration must be disposed of, but also a material or energetic utilization according to EP-0 484 332 the task arises, these lacquer coagulates to get rid of coarse dirt and after Mög also ideal for further processing to condition.
The systems used in the process according to EP-0 484 332 are designed so that they are liquid and pasty substances can dry. However, they are sensitive to large pieces foreign matter. Finally, it should be noted that the dry Treatment and further processing of paint coagulates in these Devices faster and with less energy can follow if the lacquer coagulate already has a high Have dry matter content. It is therefore additional desirable, this dry matter content of the Lackkoagu increase lats.
These tasks can be solved surprisingly easily be that the contaminated paint coagulates with water too a pumpable suspension are mixed, these suspensions sion and then by the action of flee force is separated into an aqueous phase and a sludge phase with more than 40 wt .-% dry matter. Possibly the contaminated paint coagulates before adding Roughly sieved water to pieces over 10 cm in diameter remove. The viscosity of the pumpable is preferably Suspension adjusted so that its dry matter content Has values less than or equal to 15 wt .-%. The screening of the Suspension is done so that all pieces with a diameter over 5 mm, preferably even over 3 mm.
The aqueous phase is separated off by centrifugal force either via a centrifuge or by decanting. The the separated aqueous phase can be returned to the process led and again with possibly coarsely sieved paint be coagulated.
At first it seemed absurd, the dry matter content of the lacquer coagulate by adding water because of it it was assumed that this water was subsequently extracted by Ver vaporization must be removed again. It is according to the invention but not only possible this water by exposure to Centrifugal force to remove it again but in the process attributed, being a sludge phase with a higher Dry matter content as the starting product. It is also possible to mix the mixture of lacquer and Water mineral additives and / or rest high in calorific value add substances, which then together with the dried Coagulate paint can be recycled. this happens preferably before separating the liquid phase by centrifugation force.
By adding water to the paint coagulate, it is possible to a low-viscosity, pumpable suspension, preferably with a dry matter content of less than or equal to 15% by weight hold. This suspension can be sieved well and by fleeing rip open again.
According to the invention, it is quite possible the sludge phase Enrich to a dry matter content of up to 70% by weight and thereby the energy consumption during the subsequent drying reduce significantly.
The coarse and finer solid ver removed by sieving impurities can easily be removed as waste. If necessary, they can also be in the ground state Recovery can be supplied.
The inventive method was developed to Ver drive to optimize according to EP-0 484 332. The procedure can but also apply to other processing processes driving and recovery process of coagulated residues to be upstream from paint shops, so that these too can be carried out more easily.
