Allerdings ergaben sich Schwierigkeiten bezüglich der Durchbiegefestigkeit, insbesondere an den Breitseiten der jeweiligen Verpackung. Dies ist auch verständlich, wenn man bedenkt, daß die Wellkisten für Palettenflächen von 800 χ 1200 mm oder 1000 x 1200 mm gedacht sind. Es mag zwar sein, daß auch auf diesen Flächen zwei Kisten angeordnet werden können, jeddch ergeben sich auch dann erhebliche Drücke, die eine einfache Wellkisie nicht aufzunehmen vermag, d.h. es ergeben sich unschöne Ausbuchtungen, die noch dazu den Plastikbeutel so beanspruchen können, daß dieser platzt.
