The present invention relates to an oscillator whose frequency can be changed without increasing the distortion factor.
. Oscillators without inductances generally comprise a converter which is fed back via a network which shifts the phase S by IHO ". The phase shift network generally consists of a circuit which reveals at least three capacitors and three resistors, the frequency being given by the values of these passive elements In order to continuously change the frequency, the values of several components must be changed at the same time, and in addition, these changes also result in changes in the harmonic distortion of the oscillator Capacities are required and in which the frequency can be changed continuously with a constant distortion factor by changing the value of only one passive element.
Die Erfindung wird in genaueren Einzelheiten unter 'Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnung beschrieben, in derThe invention is described in more detail with reference to the drawing in which

Gemäß dem obengenannten Aufsatz erhält dieses Filter die übertragungsfunktionThe high-pass filter shown in Fig. 1 is in principle in the magazine "Electronics", K). April 1959, pp. 68 to 70. 1 η F i g. l · 7'1 denotes a transistor connected as an emitter follower, the collector of which is connected to the positive pole E 11 of a direct voltage source and the emitter of which is connected via an emitter resistor R 1 . is connected to the negative pole E ,, of the DC voltage source. The base of the transistor is connected on the one hand to one input terminal of the filter via two capacitors C 1 and C 2 connected in series and on the other hand is connected to ground via a resistor R 2. In addition, the connection point of the capacitances is connected to the emitter of the transistor via a resistor R 1, this emitter representing an output terminal U 0 of the filter. The other input and output terminals of the filter / ,, and U h are connected to ground. According to the above article, this filter is given the transfer function

If a <- γ-, then the real parts of the poles are positive, ie the poles are in the right half of the complex frequency plane, which means that an oscillator has been obtained. The oscillation is of course maintained even if the input is short-circuited. The frequency of the oscillator is equal to the imaginary part of the poles, ie

Of the passive elements. However, R, "is not contained in the real parts of the poles .v ,, s, and if the frequency is changed by changing this resistance, the poles are therefore moved parallel to the imaginary axes of the complex frequencies. As is known, it depends on the distance of the poles from the imaginary axis and increases with increasing distance, the frequency can consequently be changed by changing R 1 ". creating an oscillator. the frequency of which changes continuously with a constant distortion factor. In order to keep the distortion factor small, the distance between the poles and the imaginary axis should be small, ie

soll klein bleiben, was die obige Annäherung erklärt. K, JR1.should stay small, which explains the above approximation. Hin oscillator according to the principle described above is used in I 'i g. 2, in which the components which correspond to those of FIG. I have been given the same reference numerals. In the oscillator, the single emitter follower according to FIG. 1 has been replaced by an emitter follower with two transistors 7 1 and 7'2, the collector of transistor 7 1 being connected to the base of transistor T1 . In addition, two contradictions R 3 and R 4 are switched on between the emitter of the transistor 71 and the collector of the transistor Tl . K, JR 1 .
