Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Ährenheber für Getreidemähmaschinen, bei denen das Aufrichten der senkrecht gegen die Maschine hin liegenden Ähren erreicht werden soll. Gegenüber älteren Ährenhebern dieser Art besteht das Wesen der Erfindung darin, daß am Teilbrett ein Ährenheber als zweiarmiger Hebel derart gelagert wird, daß er durch einen Schnurzug seitlich umgelegt werden kann und so unter die überhängenden Halme fassen kann. Dadurch wird die Arbeitsbreite der Maschine in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt und das bei kurzem Getreide, wie z. B. Hafer, zuweilen notwendige Niederlassen der Arme der Rechen oder Haspel bis direkt auf den Fingerbalken wird nicht behindert. Die besondere bewegliche Lagerung des Ährenhebers läßt dabei ein Vor- oder Rückwärts- oder Höher- bezw.
