Einfädige Flechtmaschine. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 6. Februar 1906 ab. Single thread braiding machine. Patented in the German Empire on February 6, 1906.
The invention relates to a machine for the production of braids with in any Intervals of alternating simple and pointed braiding with soon one, soon multilayered bond.

As can be seen from this, the present single-thread braiding machine allows production a single or multi-braid product. The following is the special facility this machine and its working method are explained in detail using the drawings. On the latter shows: FIG. 1 shows a part of the machine in plan, FIG. 2 the same with the gear plate removed and Fig. 3 in vertical section. Figs. 4 and 5 each show a product image, while the FIGS. 6 to 113 illustrate the movement of the clapper in the manufacture of these goods.
These plates A have an oval shape with a long axis perpendicular to the aisle, as are known per se in machines of other types. Between every two plates a switch B is arranged to regulate the bobbin run, so that the bobbins can be held back on a plate for circling or can be transferred to the adjacent plate as desired. Under each plate there is a two-wing driver C, which in a known manner has a long arm c 1 and a short arm or wing c 2 (Fig. 2), which are dimensioned so that the short wing admittedly from the point of intersection leads away, but leaves it at the end of the plate after passing the switch, so that the clapper remains here until the long wing drives it on again. As a result of this device, a clapper is guided around in uninterrupted motion when circling on a plate by the same associated long driver arm, while when transferring a clapper from one plate to the adjacent one on the latter experiences a standstill, so that
er dadurch um eine Treiberteilung zurückgesetzt wird. Hierdurch wird unter anderem auch ein Zusammenstoßen der Klöppel vermieden. this will reset it by one driver division. This will, among other things a collision of the clapper is also avoided.
Um ein Auf- und Zudrehen der Fäden bei der Klöppelbewegung, und zwar namentlich bei der Kreisung der Klöppel auf einem Teller zu verhüten, sind im gezeichneten Beispiele die Klöppel in an sich bekannter WeiseAbout an untwisting and twisting of the threads during the movement of the bobbin, namely by name The examples shown are to prevent the circling of the clapper on a plate the clapper in a manner known per se

The upper part F has at the lower end lancet-like lugs H, which work together with stop pieces J provided on the gear plate in a known manner in such a way that the interaction of the two means that the upper part of the clapper is always rotated relative to the foot so that the at the.

Die Fig. 6 bis 113 veranschaulichen dabei die zur Bildung der dargestellten Geflechte erforderliche Bewegung der Klöppel 1 bis 8.With such a machine, when using the method described above produce all kinds of goods. 4 and 5 show, for example, two such different braids that Both are made up of eight threads and therefore use a machine to produce them require an appropriate number of plates. Figures 6-113 illustrate the movement of the clapper 1 required to form the braids shown till 8.
In the first part of the goods illustrated by FIG. 4, there is no interweaving of the threads 1 to 8 at all, but rather they run alongside one another without interweaving. As a result, the clappers are each guided around in a circle on his plate, being driven by the long driver arm c 1 (FIGS. 6 and 7). In the subsequent parts of the goods, the braiding threads twist in pairs, namely thread 1 with 2, 3 with 4 etc., for which purpose the clapper is exchanged, for example by placing the clapper 1 on the plate A 2 and the clapper 2 on the plate ^ 1 and is then returned. Here, first the thread 1, as shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, lies over the thread 2, and the same thing would take place if the clapper 2 were immediately transferred back to plate A ^ from the position (FIG. 10), so that the crossing of the threads would be canceled again. In order to avoid this, the clapper 2 is then allowed to circle once on the plate A 1 and only then cross over to A 2 . Here, as required for twisting, the thread 2 lies over the thread 1 (FIGS. 12 and 13). In the position shown in FIG. 16, all the clappers have returned to the starting position corresponding to FIG. 8. Now begins an interweaving of the threads 1, 2, 3, 4 and the threads 5, 6, 7, 8 with each other, with the clapper 1 to 4 on the plates A 1 to A i and the clapper 5 to 8 on the plates A. h to A s . FIGS. 16 to 32 illustrate this clapper movement. An interweaving of all eight threads then begins from line XX of the product image, for which purpose the clappers are moved back and forth over the entire course, as can be seen from FIGS. 33 to 64. With the braiding described so far, the clapper is guided in uninterrupted sequence over the course of the machine, but each clapper experiences a standstill after the transition from one to the adjacent plate on the latter. In addition, each clapper on the top plate circles once on it in order to achieve the correct crossing of the threads. This results in the single-plaited weave of the plaiting threads which can be seen on the product image (FIG. 4).
The image of the goods according to FIG. 5 corresponds to that previously treated up to line XX . From here on, however, it shows an interweaving of the eight threads with one another in a two-ply bond. 65 to 113 show how this is achieved according to the new method using the same single-thread machine Therefore, as in Fig. 32, you do not let the clapper 4 (Figs. 65 and 66) pass over immediately onto the plate ^ 4 3 , but hold it back on the plate A * and let it circle once ineffectively. This ensures that the clapper 3 first crosses over onto the plate A 1 and now the thread 4 lies over the thread 3, in that its clapper 4 now passes over to the new plate later than the clapper 3. In this way one proceeds at all the places where the single-thread machine would produce a different thread layer than the binding to be produced requires. However, this not only gives the possibility of producing two-braid goods, as illustrated in FIG. 5, but also allows braids to be produced with one-braid and multi-braid as desired on a single-thread machine.
