Die neue Vorrichtung besteht aus einer Nürnberger Schere a, deren äußerste Schenkel e durch elastische oder verstellbare Schnüre o. dgl. b miteinander verbunden sind. Soll der Strecker zur Anwendung gelangen, so wird die Schere α mittels der Handhaben c ■gestreckt und in das Kleidungsstück geschoben. Beim Loslassen der Handhaben c sind die elastischen Mittel bestrebt, die Schere zusammenzuziehen, was das betreffende Kleidungsstück aber nur bis zu der ihm gegebenen Breite zuläßt. Um ein zu kräftiges Spannen des Kleidungsstückes zu vermeiden, können die Handhaben c durch eine Feststellvorrichtung d zusammengehalten werden, welche besonders beim Aus- und Einbringen in das Kleidungsstück in Anwendung kommen kann, so daß es zum Gestreckthalten der Schere keiner besonderen Kraft bedarf. Das Feststellen könnte aber auch in anderer Weise erfolgen.
