Abstract
In the arrangement the vibrations of the heterodyne oscillator are conveyed to a counting device by means of switching elements and the reading is obtained from the counter result. The intermediate frequency determining the frequency displacement of the tuning frequency in relation to the heterodyne frequency is chosen in such a way that it corresponds to an arbitrary counting value of one or more counter stages which are to be allocated above the maximum indicating counter stage, which extend the counting capacity, yet which are excluded from a reading. No extra adapting or adjusting measures are needed on the counting device.
