Diese Ausbildung und Art der gegenseitigen Verbindung von Profilstab und Polsterstreifen gestattet es, zunächst den Profilstab ohne aufgeklipsten Polsterstreifen an der Montagestelle mit Querstreben und Stützen zusammenzubauen und in die endgültige Gebrauchslage zu bringen, ohne daß dabei eine Beschädigung oder Beschmutzung des Polsterstreifens befürchtet werden müsste. Das nachträgliche Anbringen des Polsterstreifens bringt ferner den Vorteil mit sich, daß die an der Stirnseite des Profilstabes zu dessen Befestigung in Querrichtung eingeführten Schrauben, Bolzen oder Nieten gegen Sicht abgedeckt werden können. Als besonders vorteilhaft erweisen sich die widerhakenförmig ausgebildeten Randfortsätze des Polsterstreifens, da diese nicht nur leicht in die rückseitig an dem Profilstab angeordneten Längsnuten eingedrückt werden können, sondern sich auch in diesen gegen die unterschnittenen Flanken derart abstützen, daß sie dem Polsterstreifen einen festen Sitz auf dem Profilstab verschaffen und nur mit Gewalt aus den Nuten herausgezogen werden können.This object is achieved according to the innovation in that the upholstery strip extends the profile bar up to a rear longitudinal slot encompassed on all sides and with the profile bar by barb-like engagement of its inwardly directed edge extensions in undercut grooves of the profile bar is connected.
