Es sind Maschinen bekannt geworden, bei denen zwecks Raumersparnis bei Versand und auf Lager außerdem der obere Teil des Antriebständers für sich auf den Deckel umgelegt werden kann. Dagegen wird beim Erfindungsgegenstande der angestrebte Zweck mit ungeteiltem, festem Antriebständer erreicht, an dem der Deckel der Maschine drehbar befestigt und zusammen mit dem Wäschebeweger aufklappbar ist.
