Abstract
Description
Method and device for water treatment The invention relates on a method and devices for water treatment. It includes both the treatment of drinking and industrial water as well as wastewater, whereby coagulable Particles of chemical or mechanical flocculation as well as activated sludge in sedimentation devices can be better separated and thickened. Today we know that the coagulation process, which is used quietly in the described% for water treatment, the result is two different and independent reactions. The first, the so-called Destabilization, converts the s-tabile dispersion into one capable of coagulation. The second reaction is a transport process, ie the colloid particles in mutual Brings contact, either by diffusion, e.g.
Dieses macht in Sedimentationsanlagen die Einpianung großer Sicherheiten bezüglich der KlärflEche erforderlich.as Brown's search occurs, or by velocity gradients, generated by stirring or flowing. The coagulated particles settle away. The processing exists so in the separation of the finely suspended and colloidal particles. As part of the known measures, it is known that the Special chemicals, so-called flocculants, are added to or through the water biological aerobic or anaerobic processes from pollution - activated sludge substance or to form coagulable particles. In other words, destabilization occurs by adding chemicals that either reduce the potential threshold of the particle reduce it to such an extent that the particles move until the forces of attraction take effect second order (Van ~ der Waals, London) approach or crosslinks between the particles can be created. To that extent, this is more successful. or less good than that Reaction kinetics Depending on the ingredients and the type of dosage, disturbances are common subject. In sedimentation systems, this makes the embedding of great safety factors possible required with regard to the clearing area.
The invention is based on the object to provide a method with the difficult to coagulate particles and reaction products in the to be reprocessed Water can be separated and thickened better.
The invention relates to a method whereby water with artificially formed or natural solids in sedimentation devices for the purpose of separation to be introduced. The invention consists in that the water to be treated with the introduction to the sedimentation facilities the influence of magnetic fields is exposed. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the method guided so that the water to be prepared and the magnetic fields are moved relative to each other. The easiest way to do this is within the scope of the invention proceed in such a way that the water to be treated is treated with magnetostatic fields will, which can be both those having the same direction as well as those that alternate in temporal or spatial sequence exhibit. Another proposal of the invention is that the to be processed Water is treated with quasi-stationary magnetic fields, and in this Case the relative movement can also be absent. Referred to as quasi-stationary fields one whose direction changes only relatively slowly.
Die Eindickung verbesserte sich um ca. 33%.The invention is based on the previously unknown fact that the processes described can also be achieved by magnetic fields, the effect is particularly pronounced when the water to be treated and the magnetic fields are moved relative to each other. The one required for these operations Work is initiated via the relative movement or, if with quasi-stationary Fields are worked, taken from the field. For standing water to be treated and static (non-moving and / or magnetostatic fields) is also sufficient Brownian motion of the particles in order to achieve the desired and described Processes to generate the necessary energy. A precise theory of the connections is not available. However, the effect achieved is quite over-ratcheting, like that the following examples show: Example 1 From the ventilation zone of a The sewage treatment plant, designed as a sedimentation facility, was under operating conditions Activated sludge removed, its settling and thickening with and without magnetic Influence was compared. The settling speed rose from 2.34 m / h 3.5 m / h, i.e. Vmca 50%. The thickening improved by about 33%.
Example -2 A solution of iron hydroxide in weakly al # alic - Medium- containing incompletely oxidized, partly divalent iron was. showed unsatisfactory flocculation. Flake sizes approx. 1-2 mm, settling speed approx. 2 - 2.5m / h. The same solution, when treated magnetically, showed a magnification of the Flakes by approx. 50% and an increase in the settling speed to 3 - 6 m / h. After just 5 minutes, the sludge volume was about twice as large as in the untreated one Sample.
Example 3 In another sample, the dissolved K2CrO4 and FeSO4 revealed, similar conditions were found, which should prove that that the method used also responds under difficult conditions.
In the following the invention is based on only one embodiment Illustrative drawing explained in more detail. It show in a schematic representation Fig. 1 shows an apparatus for carrying out the method according to the invention; FIG. 2 shows a Another embodiment of the object according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3, an enlarged section from the object according to FIG. 1 in vertical section FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the object according to FIG. 3, FIG. 5 corresponding to FIG. 1, a further embodiment.
The device shown in Figures 1, 3 and 4 initially exists from a sedimentation device in the form of a sedimentation basin 1 with a Feed pipe 2 and an excess volume 3. Located in the feed pipe 2 Magnet arrangements 4 through which the water to be treated flows. In particular from Fig. 3 it can be seen that the lines of force in the ring interior in the direction of flow of the water to be prepared or run in the opposite direction. This is how it is achieved that the water to be treated upon introduction into the sedimentation device 1 is exposed to the influence of magnetic fields. The relative movement between the magnetic fields and the water to be treated is used in this embodiment brought about by the flow of water and this creates flow energy also the work for the desired process.
In the embodiment according to Figures 1 and 3, the ring-shaped Magnet arrangements, for example sintered magnets, is of particular importance Embodiment according to FIG. 2, at moving in the sedimentation basin 1 Magnets 5 are arranged, which rotate about the axis 7 via a drive motor 6.
