Description
Magnetron mit FahnenanodeMagnetron with flag anode
The invention relates more particularly to multiple cavity magnetron js the kind where the. Cavities are formed by inwardly jumping flags from the anode shell. Such Magnetrons are briefly referred to below as flag anode magnetrons.
Bei Magnetrons vom Sonnentyp (rising sun magnetron)The anodes of flag anode magnetrons are partly made from the solid material by machining (hobbing) worked out and partly through separate production of the cover and the flags and subsequent soldering together Components manufactured. From an electrical point of view, the anodes are machined from the solid better than the assembled ones, as they have no soldered joints that cause losses and, moreover, not the Risk of manufacturing inaccuracies due to incorrect assembly or deformation during soldering. On the other hand, however, there is production by machining of the full material is expensive and for this reason manufacturing by assembly is often used. In the currently used flag anode magnetrons of this type, the anode envelope and the individual flags are separated manufactured. For magnetrons of the sun type (rising sun magnetron)

.in which alternately successive cavities, differences lent are large, are metallic ■ filler "., the alternating between adjacent lugs pairs are attached to the shell to the qualities required of two different sizes loading v nachbarter cavities to provide, also manufactured separately" The separately manufactured parts - flags, cover and, if-provided, filler piece «- · are put together and with -; ■ ;. With the help of fixtures held in their correct relative position and then soldered together. It is easy to see that the separately manufactured parts are very difficult to set up correctly and that the possibility of incorrect assembly and deformation of the parts, particularly the lugs, is considerable during soldering »> In addition, the finished anode has numerous soldered connections which losses can cause when the magnetron is in operation, in particular when, which can happen in practice with such a structure, one or more of these soldering points are bad ”. .
The aim of the invention is to avoid these errors and improve them Flag anode magnetrons, the anodes of which are relatively cheap can be manufactured, have little tendency to deform during manufacture, have fewer soldered connections (in which the probability of bad soldered joints is low) and which therefore have lower losses than known comparable composite anodes «,

Bridge members can also have grooves or recesses to Include solder so that after the pontics are introduced into the grooves of the shell and are held there in their correct position with respect to the shell, they easily can be soldered to the shell by supplying heat.
Die Fahnenglieder können durch Strangpreßverfahren in einem
Stück hergestellt werden. The flag members can be extruded in one
Piece to be produced.
In one embodiment of the invention, the flag members have a rectangular -U-shaped cross-section and consist of two parallel flags passing through one with them in one piece existing thick bridge member are connected at the outer ends.

are connected.
The invention is described in connection with the drawing. The two drawing figures explain two embodiments. Both figures show a broken sectional view in Inventive made flags anode. The remaining parts of the magnetrons according to FIGS. 1 and 2 correspond to known ones
Practice and are therefore not shown.
Figur 1 zeigt die erfindungsgemäß hergestellte Anode eines
Magnetrons vom Sonnentyp.
Lokalisierung der äußeren Enden der Fahnenglieder ausgebildet..,FIG. 1 shows the anode produced according to the invention
Sun-type magnetrons. The anode consists of an outer cylindrical copper sheath S and a plurality of copper flag links M. The flag links are all the same and are made in one piece, for example by extrusion.
Each consists of two parallel flags Ml, M2 attached to the
outer ends are connected by a thick bridge member M3. The shell is, as shown, with grooves for receiving and
Localization of the outer ends of the flag links formed ..,

The outward facing surfaces M4 of the flag links are curved arcuately and fit into the bottoms of the grooves or Recordings in the case. These surfaces M4 have grooves (not shown), is introduced into the solder so that after assembling the parts with their correct positions to each other As shown in Figure 1, only heat has to be supplied in order to solder the parts together.
The individual parts of the anode according to FIG. 1 can thus be manufactured precisely in a simple manner, easy to set up during assembly, easy to solder together with little risk of deformation or poor soldering points and result after soldering a structure in which the only solder joints are good solder joints are on the surfaces M4.
' -FIG. 2 shows a further form of an anode with the same structural and electrical advantages as in the case of the anode according to Figure 1. In Figure 2, the flags that are here with IM and 2M are designated, radial and at their outer ends by arcuate Bridge members, which are labeled 3M, and the approximately have the same thickness as the flags and are connected to them in one piece. The flag links, in Figure 2 with MM, from the flags IM and 2M and the bridge members 3M are received in grooves in the shell S and 4M on their arcuate surfaces in the same way as the anode according to Figure 1 by solder, which is attached in grooves or receptacles (not shown) in the surfaces 4M, with the shell soldered.
