standes :
Mosaik-Werkkasten
1. Gegenstand der Gebrauchsmusteranmeldung ist ein
Mosaik-Werkkasten, wie er nachsübend beschrieben wird :
Er ist in seiner Gestaltung und in seinem Aufbau
völlig neu, da eine derartige Zusammenfassung von
Baumaterial, Bauwerkzeug und Bauanleitung bisher nicht
bekannt ist. Wer bisher zu seiner eigenen Freude oder
Entspannung oder zur Herstellung eines Gebrauchsgegen-
standes ein Mosaik auslegen wollte, mußte sich die
zur Fertigung notwendigen Steine, das Klebe-und
Ausfugmaterial, die erforderlichen Werkzeuge und die
entsprechenden Vorlagen jeweils gesondert beschaffen,
und er mußte die Übung entweder selbst erlernen oder
sich von einem Kenner anleiten lassen. Allein schon
diese Schwierigkeiten in der Beschaffung der erfor-
derlichen Material-und Werkzeugteile hat es mit sich
gebracht, daß vor allem bei der Jugend die Fertigung
von Mosaiken bisher nahezu unbekannt geblieben ist.
Diese Nachteile füllt der nunmehrige Gebrauchsmustergegen-
stand in vollem Umfange aus, denn in diesem Werkkasten
sind alle Einzelteile vereint, die zur Fertigung von
Mosaiken nötig sind.
2. Der Mosaik-Werkkasten enthält Materialien, Werkzeuge,
Musterbilder und eine technische Anleitung zur Fertigung
von Bildmosaiken.
Es ist ein Holzkasten mit den Abmessungen 37 x 26,5 x 7 cm,
der mit einem Schiebedeckel verschlossen wird.

Auf dem Schiebedeckel ist ein lackierter Vierfarben--
kunstdruck aufgezogen, der eine orientalische Landschaft
in Mosaiktechnik darstellt und mit der Aufschrift
"Mosaik-Werkkasten" versehen ist. Der innere Raum des Kastens
ist in 7 Fächer untergeteilt. 6 gleich große Fächer dienen
zur Aufnahme des insgesamt ca 2,7 kg schweren Mosaik-
materials. Dieses besteht aus deutschen Glasmosaiksteinen mit
den Abmessungen 2 x 2 x 0, 5 cm und ist innerhalb der 6
Fächer in 10 verschiedene Farben sortiert.

Das 7. größere Fach, das sich über die ganze Breite
des Kastens ausdehnt, enthält die zur Fertigung der Mosaiken
notwendigen « Werkzeuge, nämlich :
a) eine Spezialzange Knipex 98-220 zum Spalten

der Mosaiksteine;
b) einen Pinsel, mittels dessen die Unterseite
der Mosaiksteine mit Leim bestrichen wird ;
c) eine Kunststoffdose, die ca 200 g Zellulose-
leim in flüssiger Form enthält,
d) ein Kunststoffspachtel zum Auftragen des
Fugenmaterials,
e) ein Kunststoffbeutel, der ca 0,5 kg Dycker-
i hoffweiss und Steinmehl (1 : 2) in Pulverform
\ enthält.
Obenauf, d. h. direkt unter dem Sdhiebedeckel liegen lo Stück
t in Vierfarbendruck wiedergegebene Mosaikbilder. Davon sind
, \ 8 Stück 15 x 15 cm groß, während 2 Stück die Größe von
15 x 3o cm haben. Die Mosaikbilder dienen als Vorlage bei
der Fertigung von Mosaiken und sind richtungweisend für die
Formgebung des Materials. In ihrer Reihenfolge stellen die
Mosaikbflder einen Lehrgang dar, der von einfacheren zu
schwierigen Mosaikbildern führt.

t anleitung, die eine der seltenen Quellen zu dieser Technik
überhaupt darstellt.
Der Mosaik-Verkkasten ist beispielsweise als Lehrmittel für
Schulen und Kunstschulen, als förderndes Spielzeug für Kinder,
als Mittel zur Freizeitgestaltung Erwachsener oder als Mittel
zur Herstellung von Gebrauchsgegenständen (wie Tischen, Vasen
usw.) geeignet.
Das Neue des Mosaik-Werkkastens liegt darin, daß er in
Aufbau und Gestaltung außer den haushaltüblichen Werkzeugen
alles enthält, was zur Fertigung von Mosaiken notwendig ist.
Der Mosaik-Werkkasten hat außerdem Lehrmitteleigenschaften
durch die Abbildungen und die Anleitung, die er neben
Material und Werkzeug enthält.
4.S c hut z ansp ruch :
a) Mosaik-Werkkasten, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß er sowohl verschiedene Fächer zur Auf-
nahme verschiedenfarbiger Glasmosaiksteine,
ein Fach zur Aufnahme des notwendigen Ausfug--
und Klebematerials und der erforderlichen Werk-
zeuge und darüber hinaus noch Raum für verschie-
denfarbige Vorlagen und eine druckschriftliche
Anleitung enthält.
b) Mosaik-Werkkasten dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
sich in dem Werkzeugfach eine Spezialzange zum
Spalten der Mosaiksteine, 1 Pinsel zum Auftragen
des Klebematerial, 1 Kunststoffdose mit Zellulose-
leim, 1 Kunststoffspachtel zum Auftragen des Fugen-
materials und 1 Kunststoffbeutel mit pulverisierter
Zementmischung befinden.
c) Mosaik-Werkkasten nach Anspruch a), dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß der Kasten mittels eines
Schiebedeckels zu öffnen ist.
