betrifft ein Lesezeichen zur selbsttätigen Einmerkung von Büchern u. dgl.Bookmarks for the automatic annotation of books and the like. The innovation

Zum Einmerken von Büchern werden im allgemeinen Lesezeichen z. B.
aus Papier u. dgl. verwendet, die an den einzumerkenden Stellen jeweils gesondert
in das Buch eingelegt werden.For annotation of books bookmarks z. B.

Beim Umblättern ergibt sich der Nachteil, daß das Zeichen herausgenommen
und neu wiedereingelegt werden muß. Daneben können derartige Zeichen, besonders
wenn sie größer sind, das Buch beschädigen oder verunzieren. Um diesem Nachteil
abzuhelfen, ist bei dem Lesezeichen gemäß der Neuerung mit einem am Buch lösbar
zu befestigenden Halteteil ein stäbchenartiger Arm elastisch nachgiebig verbunden,
der ein zwischen die Buchseiten von oben hineinragendes dünnen Einmerkstück trägt,
das auf die zwischen dem inmerkstück und dem hinteren Buchdeckel liegenden Buchseiten
drückt. Der Halteteil besteht zweckmäßigerweise aus einer am hinteren Buchdeckel
zu
befestigenden Klammer aus elastischem Material, während das inmerkstück flach in
Form einer mit einem Finger zeigenden Hand ausgebildet und in Gestalt eines Winkelstücks
an dem stäbchenartigen Arm angelenkt sein Kann. Schliesslich ist es von Vorteil,
wenn der stäbchenartige Arm an dem Halteteil angelenkt ist und unter der Wirkung
eines elastischen Gliedes steht, welches das Einmerkstück gegen die Buchseiten presst.
wenn nunmehr der stäbchenartige Arm eine solche Länge aufweist, dass bei in der
Nähe des Buchrückens angeordnetem Halteteil das Einmerkstück nahe dem Buchseitenrand
zu liegen kommt und das Einmerkstück mit entsprechender Länge und Breits ausgeführt
ist, so können die Buchseiten beim Umblättern bei eingelegtem Lesezeichen unter
dem Einmerkstück hervorgezogen werden. Damit braucht das Lesezeichen nur einmal
an dem Buch befestigt und zwischen die Seiten eingelegt zu werden, während gewährleistet
ist, dass das Einmerkstück nach dem Umblättern einer Seite selbsttätig auf die nächste
Seite gelangt, so dass das Buch immer an der richtigen Stelle, an der das Umblättern
beendet wurde, eingemerkt ist. Las neue Lesezeichen ist daneben klein und leicht
anzubringen, so dass eine Verunstaltung des Buches oder eine Beschädigung desselben
ausgeschlossen sind. Es kommt noch hinzu, dass aas Lesezeichen infolge seiner kleinen
Gestaltung etwa beim Abstellen des Buches keine störenden Teile aufweist und demgemäss
auch nicht entfernt zu werden braucht.
In der Zeichnung ist ein
Ausführungsbeispiel des Gebenstandes der Neuerung dargestellt. Es zeigen : Fig.
1 das Lesezeichen gemäss der Neuerung in einem Buch in perspektivischer Darstellung,
Fig. 2 das Lesezeichen nach Fig. 1 in einer Seitenansicht und Fig. 3 das Lesezeichen
nach Fig. 1 in einer Draufsicht von unten. Am hinteren Deckel 1 des Buches ist in
der Nähe des Buchrükkens 2 eine Klammer 3 aus elastischem @aterial befestigt, an
der ein stäbchenartiger Arm 4 bei 5 angelenkt ist. Der stäbchenartibe Arm 4 ist
an seinem anderen Ende bei 6 mit
einem &ls inmerkstück di&nenden Winkelstück 7 gelenkig
verbunden, das von oben (Fig. 1) zwischen die Buchseiten hineinragt und die Form
einer mit einem Finger zeigenden Hand aufweist. In der Klammer 3 ist eine Feder
8 angeordnet, die den stäbchenartigen Arm 4 nach hinten (Fig. 1) und damit das Einmerkstück
7 gegen die zwischen ihm und dem hinteren Buchdeckel liegenden Seiten presst. Der
stäbehenartige Arm weist eine solche Länge auf, dass das Einmerkstück 7 bei in der
Nähe des Buchrückens 2 angeordneter Klammer 3 nahe dem Buchseitenrand zu liegen
kommt, so dass beim Umblättern die Buchseiten unter dem Einmerkstück 7 hervorgezogen
