Description
Device for the production of double-walled roof tiles from thermoplastic Plastic In the construction industry, roof tiles of the most varied shapes have been used up to now produced by firing ceramic masses. It is also known to be made from roof tiles Manufacture plastics by casting or pressing. According to the previous procedure you could only make single-walled roof tiles.
Hohlrippen 6, den Schrauben 3 und dem Gewindestück 4.It has been found that double-walled roof tiles in the new device made of thermoplastics by the rotational molding process can. The new device consists of the molded parts 1 and 2 with the hollow bolts 5 or hollow ribs 6, the screws 3 and the threaded piece 4.
The mode of operation of the device can be seen in the figures 1 and 2 shown embodiments. In the molded part 1 is the thermoplastic Plastic (7) introduced. As thermoplastics are z. B. polyvinyl chloride plastisols suitable with 20 to 50% plasticizer. The amount to be used depends on the desired wall thickness, of course in each case the molded part 1 only has to be partially filled with the plastic paste. Then the molded part 2 firmly connected to part 1 with the aid of screws 3. The one locked in this way The hollow shape is now made by the threaded piece 4 with the head plate of a rotary casting machine connected and in 2 mutually perpendicular planes under heating with a hot Moving airflow. The plastic paste gels on the inner surfaces one Hollow body with the same wall thickness. The height of the hollow bolts 5 or hollow ribs 6 is to be dimensioned in such a way that the plastic paste that has gelled on it adheres to the wall of the hollow body connects in order to make it flexurally rigid. The order the stiffening bolt or. Stiffening. s can be seen in Figures 3 and 4. If the plastic used is, for example, polyvinyl chloride, the temperature in the device should be around 170 ° C with a gel time of 10 to 20 minutes depending on the wall thickness. After cooling down sufficiently, the device can opened and the double-walled roof tiles removed. With the present Device can be produced roof tiles of the commercially available forms, the because of the design as a hollow body particularly good against both cold and against Insulate heat.
