Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Taschenmesser, bei welchem die Klinge in der Offen- und Schlußlage dadurch in ihrer Stellung gesichert ist, daß die beiden Schalen durch eine Öse und eine Schließstange, welche durch das Auge der letzteren im Innern der einen Heftbacke liegt, zusammengehalten werden. Die Klinge α ist an ihrem Ende mittels des Stiftes a^x mit den Heftplatten drehbar verbunden. Auf ihrer rechten Seite befindet sich oberhalb, an der linken Seite unterhalb des Stiftes eine Leiste α² (Fig. 1), welche den beiden Heftplatten b als Widerlager bei geöffnetem Messer dient. Die beiden Heftplatten b sind mit den beiden Heftschalen c durch Niete verbunden. An den Enden der Heftschalen sind an die Heftplatten die Baiken e aufgenietet, welche zur Verstärkung der Heftplatten dienen. Die eine Heftplätte ist mit einem viereckigen Ausschnitt/¹ für die an der anderen Schale befestigte Schließöse/" versehen. . Innerhalb dieser Heftschale ist längs derselben eine Stange d geführt, welche mit einem beweglichen Backen e¹ verbunden ist. Die Schließstange d nimmt die Schraubenfeder d¹ auf und ist an ihrem in die öse reichenden Ende d zugeschärft. In der Mitte der Schließstange befindet sich ein Stift, welcher der Feder als Gegenlager dient. Das andere Gegenlager für diese bildet der feste Teil der Backe.
