Bei frei im Raum stehenden Möbeln bestand immer die Schwierigkeit,
etwa zugehörige Betten, Kissen, Decken o. dgl. tagsüber aufzubewahren.With furniture standing freely in the room, there was always the difficulty

Bei sogenannten Couchs, die an der Wand standen, hat man im unteren
Teil des Polsterrahmens einen Bettkasten vorgesehen, der sich aber für freistehende
Möbel nicht eignet. Die Neuerung zeigt demgegenüber eine Polsterliege, die sich
durch einen die Polsterung tragenden Rahmen kennzeichnet, der an seinem vorderen
Ende Füsse hat und an der Kopfseite auf einem Bettkasten ruht, auf dessen hochklappbaren
Deckel das Kopfpolster der Liege befestigt ist. Der Bettkasten ist erheblich kleiner
und ersetzt praktisch die rückwärtigen Füsse des
Möbelstücks.
Der Erfindungsgedanke lässt die verschiedensten Ausführungsmöglichkeiten
zu. Eine davon ist in beiliegender Zeichnung wiedergegeben. Es
zeigen : Fig. l eine perspektivische Ansicht der Polsterliege und Fig. 2 eine perspektivische
