Verfahren zum Anilinschwarzfärben. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 31. Juli 1904 ab.Method of dyeing aniline black. Patented in the German Empire on July 31, 1904.
Das Mittel hierzu besteht inThe invention relates to oxidation aniline black dyeing and aims for this purpose, the method of aniline black production known for black printing by means of To form chlorate and metal salt in the presence of chlorammonium and acetic acid salts in such a way that the Fiber is obtained directly a non-greening black. The means for this consists in
ίο einer eigenartigen Ausführung der an sich in der Anilinschwarzfärberei bekannten Entwickelung des Schwarz im Luftstrome in Verbindung mit einer hierdurch bedingten Abänderung des Klotzbades bezüglich seines Gehaltes an Salmiak und essigsauren Salzen.ίο a peculiar execution of the in itself The development of black in the air flow known in aniline black dyeing Connection with a resulting modification of the Klotzbath with regard to his Salmiak and acetic acid salts.
Der Erfindung gemäß wird die geklotzteAccording to the invention, the padded
Goods after they have been brought to the appropriate degree of dryness in the open air at a temperature of 39 to 40 ° C. by means of an air stream with vigorous agitation, with the exclusion of the air at a low temperature, which, depending on the type of goods, is only 26 to 37 ° C. is treated with a force of air circulating in the enclosed space. This novel treatment during development has the effect that on the one hand the secondary and intermediate developed gases (chlorine) by flowing over and over again in contact with the fiber can exert their effect in a thorough manner and are fully exploited while on the other hand, the adhesion of the acid vapors, which makes the fiber rotten, is entirely eliminated, the slight influence which they can exert is further reduced by the low temperature at which the development is carried out. The technical progress that the innovation brings is expressed in the fact that the fiber remains firm, increases by 9 to 10 percent in weight, is thoroughly colored in its entire mass and only 6 percent of the fiber weight is aniline (compared to the 8 to 10 Percent of the usual procedures) are required.
In order for this effect to be achieved, however, it has been found necessary to increase both the ammonia content and the acetate content of the pad bath considerably above the usual level. The most expedient increase is up to twice the usual amount. In general, about 6 kg of ammonia and 3 to 6 kg of copper acetate are used for every 50 kg of goods. It is also advisable to add acetic acid from Y 2 to 1Y 2 kg to 50 kg of goods. The high ammonia content has the effect of preventing local overdrying when drying with the strong, warm air stream, as a certain amount of moisture is retained by the higher ammonia content, which would be unavoidable without this preventive agent. The excess of acetate has the effect of compensating for the retarding influence of the lower temperature in the development phase by immediately causing a vigorous evolution of gas.
Das in der beschriebenen Weise verbesserteThe improved in the manner described
Verfahren hat folgende eigenartige Wirkungen :Procedure has the following peculiar effects:
B. beim Anilinschwarzfärben von Satin mittels Chlorat und Metallsalz bisIt will save time, which one? the duration of treatment to half the usual lowers, and with considerable material savings, as well as with a previously unsurpassed protection of the fiber (weakening it e.g. when dyeing aniline black from satin using chlorate and metal salt to
Die gefärbte Ware ist von vornherein weichgriffig und bedarf keiner wiederholten Seifung oder anderen die Weichgriffigkeit erhöhenden Behandlung.ίο is 25 percent), a deep black Coloration of blue shade obtained, which compared to that obtained by overoxidation non-green nuances of black, which often show a brown and earth-colored nuance, is extremely characteristic. With the same resistance to sulphurous acid vapors and Lehne's reagents (see Loewenthal, Handbuch der Färberei, 1900, Vol. II, P. 1106, para. 2) it resists the action of chlorine to a greater degree than that best known aniline black, and is particularly distinguished by this chlorine resistance also beneficial from the black sulfur dyes. It is absolutely rub-, light-, soap- and acid-fast and resists the action of hydrogen sulfide, etc. The color permeates the whole mass of the The fiber is extremely uniform and is absolutely free from the staining that the in goods dyed with bichromate in full bath. The dyed goods are from Soft to the touch from the start and does not require repeated soaping or other soft feel elevating treatment.
The process itself is very regular and, as already noted, requires little Expenditure of time and gives no cause for significant losses of aniline.
The improved method is applicable to cotton, wool (which are not special Pretreatment required) and silk.
