Senkt man nun den Stempel (in der Fig. 9 nicht dargestellt), so gleiten auch die Zapfen g wieder in den Schlitzen h nieder, d. h. die Zange schließt sich, so daß die Spitzen f² in den Block r eindringen (Fig. 9). Erfolgt jetzt die Hebung der Zange, so hängt der Block in ihr und es regelt sich der Anpressungsdruck nach dem Gewicht des Blockes wie in dem Patent 176246.
