Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen umfassend verwendbaren Bettrahmen zu schaffen, der einerseits die Vorteile der bisherigen Federbespannung beibehält, andererseits aber auch die Vorzüge fester Unter- lagen für die Matratzen aufweist. Es wurde gefunden, dass sich diese Aufgabe in einfacher Weise dadurch lösen lässt, dass an stark belasteten Be- reichen anstelle der üblichen Federbespannung eine Platte vorgesehen wird. Die Platte wird vorzugsweise an der Stelle des Bettrahmens angeordnet, an der sich der Patient vor dem Hinlegen auf den Bettrahmen setzt. Diese Stelle stimmt is wesentlichen auch mit den Bereichen überein, welche beispielsweise bei hochgestellter Rückenlehne das Hauptgewicht eines Patienten aufzunehmen haben. Die Platte nimmt anstelle der bisher üblichen durchsackenden Federn die Hauptbelastung durch den Patienten auf. Von Vorteil ist es, dass der erfindungsgemässe Bettrahmen in Standard-Betten mit fester Liegefläche, ebeneogut aber auch in solchen Betten zur Anwendung kommen kann, die ein Verachwenken des Bettrahmens gestatten.. Erfindungsgemäss befindet sich die neue Platte zugleich auch an der Stelle, an der normalerweise ein sogenannter Schieber eingeführt wird. Demnach kann sie auch als Gleitunterlage für einen Schieber dienen. Um dieses zu er- leichtern, wird der neue Bettrahmen vorzugsweise zusammen mit Matratzen benutzt, die an der Stelle über der neuen Platte-schmale Matratzenteile aufweisen, die zur Einführung eines Schiebers herausgezogen werden kÖnnen.' Von Vorteil ist die Platte auch, wenn sie zwischen dem ver- stellbaren Kopfteil und einem ebenfalls verstellbaren Bein- teil, beispielsweise iii Betten für Herzpatienten, angeordnet wird. Bei solchen Betten muss in besonderem Masse dafür ge- sorgt werden, dass das Gewicht, vor allem schwerer Herz- patienten, nicht zu einen Durchsacken der Federbespannung führt. Bin Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist demnach dadurch gekennzeichnet, dann die Platte zum Fussende des-Bettes hin neben den Drehgelenken für die Rückenlehne zwischen den Längsholmen des Bettrahmens angeordnet ist. In einem anderen Ausführungsbeispiel w3.xad die Platte in der Rückenlehne zwischen deren Schenkeln angeordnet. Die erfindungsgemässen Platten verursachen keine erhöhten Kosten. Die mit ihnen ausgerüsteten Bettrahmen können so- nach zweifelsohne als preiswerte, universell verwendbare Bettrahmen angesprochen werden. Von Vorteil ist es, wenn entsprechende Federn der Feder- bespannung an der Platte befestigt werden. Grundsätzlich ist es gleichgültig, aus welchen geeigneten Material die Platte hergestellt wird. Bei manchen Ausführungsbeispielen hat es sich herausgestellt, dass es von Vorteil ist, wenn die Platte aus harten Kunst- Stoff besteht. In anderen Ausführungsbeispielen ist die Platte ein relativ breites Stahlband. Es kann als steife Feder ausgebildet sein.
