Beim Feilen entstehen in Werkstätten sehr häufig lästige Schäden
und Handverletzungen leichter und ersterer Art dadurch, daß
das
Feilenheft abgleitet oder vielmehr die Zeile mit ihrer einge-
triebenen Spitze herausrutscht. Die Anmeldung zeigt die Ausführung
der Feilenheftsicherung in den beiden eingesandten Modellen.
Wie
daraus zu ersehen ist, besteht die Feilenheftsicherung aus folgenden Teilen, die
so eingefügt sind, wie jetzt beschrieben wird ; Ein entsprechend zurechtgeschnittener
Stahlblechstreifen von 0,8 bis 1 mm Stärke und von passender Länge wird so zurechtgebogen
und um die ins Heft einzuschlagende Feilenspitze gelegt, daß er, nachdem er außerhalb
des Heftes am Feilenblatt mit einer Maschinenschraube, deren Gewinde am Feilenkörper
verläuft und die mit dem Scraubenkopf und einer Bohrung im Bleohstreifen die Spitze
festhält, befestigt ist, die Feile im Heft durch eine weitere Maßnahme festhält,
Diese besteht darin, daß in das hölzerne Feilenheft (oder das durchbohrbare, aus
anderem Material wie Kunststoff usw* bestehende Feilenheft) etwa 2-3 cm unterhalb
der Stelle, an der die Feilenspitze im Heft nach dem Eintreiben endigt, eine Holzschraube
oder ähnliches so eingebracht wird, daß sie den umgebogenen Blechstreifen faßt.
Die Bohrung im Feilenheft muß zur Aufnahme des Blechstreifens eingerichtet sein.
Die Köpfe der zwei verwendeten Schrauben werden so versenkt oder geformt, daß beim
Fellen durch sie keine Hand-oder Fingerverletzungen eintreten können.
