Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf Markierungs-oder Verschlußplomben, vornehmlich zum kennzeichnen von Federvieh, insbesondere Eintagsküoken. Bekannte, für solche Zwecke bestimmte Plomben bestehen aus einem Metallstreifen, der an einem Ende mit einem flachen Haken und am anderen Ende mit einer schlitzförmigen Öffnung versehen ist, durch die das in den Haken auslaufende Ende des entsprechend zusammengebogenen Streifens soweit hindurohgesteckt, bis sich der Haken in einer hinter der Öffnung angeordneten 2 ohrrichtung verfängt. Um ein Zurückdrücken des Hakens zu verhindern, ist das mit der Öffnung versehene Streifenende rückseitig durch eine den Haken umschließende Kappe überdeckt. Innerhalb dieser Kappe ist auch die Fangvorrichtung für den Haken vorgesehen, die z. B. in Mitteln zum Verdrehen des durch die Öffnung tretenden Hakens um die Streifenlängsachse oder einer Feder bestehen, die von den durch die Öffnung tretenden Haken zunächst gespreizt wird und dann hinter diesen zurückfedert und ihn festhält. Diese Ausbildung ist für manche Tiere, insbesondere für kleineres Federvieh, insbesondere für Eintagskücken, bei denen die Streifenspitze durch die empfindliche und leicht ausreißende Flügelbogenhaut gesteckt werden muß, viel zu schwer. Außerdem sind die erwähnten bekannten Markierungsplomben kompliziert in der Herstellung, weil der Streifen, der Haken, die Kappe und die darin unterzubringenden Teile als Einzelelemente hergestellt werden, deren Zusammenbau viel Arbeit erfordert.
