Die Schutzwirkung der meisten heute gebräuchlichen Schutzhelm, insbesondere Sturzhelme,
beruht auf der Verformungsfähigkeit einer Helmschale und der Innenausstattung.-Während
im Scheitelbereich durch die dort meist vorhandenen größeren Deformationswege eine
höhere Schutzwirkung auftritt, ist diese an der Circumferenz des Kopfes wegen der
geringeren Deformationswege in nur sehr bescheidenem Umfang vorhanden.-Es ist bekannt,
Schutzhelm, insbesondere Sturzhelme zu bauen, bei denen eine weitgehend starre Schale
z. B. diejenige von Militär-Stahlhelmen mit einer verformungsfähigen Innenausstattung
kombiniert wird. Dabei ist es möglich, durch die starre Schale eine hohe Durchdringungsfestigkeit
zu erzielen (gegen Geschosse oder sonstige spitze Körper). Durch die Verformungsfähigkeit
der Innenausstattung erreicht man aber auf der anderen Seite, dass auch beim Zusammenprall
mit plattenförmigen Körpern (ende oder dgl.) eine Schutzwirkung (Arbeite verzehr)

The protective effect of most of the protective helmets in use today, in particular crash helmets, is based on the deformability of a helmet shell and the interior fittings. - While a higher protection effect occurs in the apex area due to the larger deformation paths that are usually present there, this is only at the circumference of the head because of the smaller deformation paths very modest extent available.-It is known to build protective helmets, especially crash helmets, in which a largely rigid shell z. B. that of military steel helmets is combined with a deformable interior. It is possible to achieve a high penetration resistance through the rigid shell (against projectiles or other pointed bodies). On the other hand, the deformability of the interior fittings ensures that even when colliding with plate-shaped bodies (end or the like) there is a protective effect (consuming work) without the forces exceeding the anatomically tolerable level.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Neuerung ist, durch Schaffung einer Innenauskleidung
aus verformungsfähigen Stoffen z. B. geschäumten Kunststoffen, Kork oder ähnlich
wirksamem Material, -verbunden mit einer Üblichen Innenausstattung, die Wirkung
eines Schutzhelmes, insbesondere Sturzhelmes zu schaffen, die @ durch die Eigenart
der Ausbildung der Innenauskleidung und Innenausstattung auch einen erheblichen
Schutz an der Circumferenz des Schädels bedingt und der darüber-hinaus eine
zwei"phasige Bremswirkung (Arbeitsverzehr) aufweist, Die erste

meidung stumpfer Hirnverletzungen. Der Arbeitsverzehr in dieser Phase wird dadurch
bedingt, dass die Kreuzbänder den unteren Rand der Innenauskleidung umfassen und.
