Man erhält also bei periodischer Änderung
Conventional arrangements of this type with a mechanically adjustable control element (eg tuning element) have, as is generally the case with the task at hand, one within of the change area uniformly running characters
ristics and when returning to the initial value - whereby a change in the direction of movement of the control element is usually required - the rate of change of the controlled variable (inductance or capacitance) is roughly the same as with the initial value if the mechanical adjustment speed is not changed, which is generally undesirable is. So you get with periodic change only a triangular course with roughly the same, different
relatively low edge steepness on the rising
as on the sloping branch *
These disadvantages are avoided in the case of a coil arrangement, the inductance of which can be changed periodically, gradually and abruptly by a uniformly moving control element, if according to the innovation at least part of the coil is narrow and is elongated and if as a regulating organ in the
Coil field a flat, conductive body parallel to the
Winding plane is shiftable in such a way that you can see its effective
part during the gradual change approximately in direction
direction of the largest axis of the coil area and during the
abrupt change in the direction of the smallest axis of the coil area.
An-

It should be noted that it is known to vary the inductance of a coil by placing a conductive disc in the field. Several partial coils have also been used, between the turns of which one or more disks have been rotated or shifted. is, the coils are inductively coupled to one another and overall have a relatively high inductance occurring at the connections 3 and 4. If, however, the disk 5 protrudes far between the turns, the coupling is between the coils 1 and 2 canceled and their inductance thereby
that the disc acts as a short-circuited secondary winding,
very much reduced. It is not difficult to be with such a
Chen arrangement to achieve a ratio (inductance swing) of 2 and more between the largest and smallest inductance values of the series-connected coils 1 and 2, both at relatively low frequencies, for example in of the order of 1 to 1 MHz as well as relative

moderately simple arrangement, an increase in the inductive
tatahubes achieved. If necessary, the
other sides of the coils 1 and 2 ferromagnetic material can be arranged to increase the inductance. This is particularly desirable at lower frequencies, where you only want to use a few turns because of a good inductance swing, but still want to achieve a sufficiently large inductance.
