Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Schutzvorrichtung an Satzbrettern, wie sie in der Buchdruckerei und besonders in der Akzidenzdruckerei gebraucht werden, und dient dazu, das Herunterfallen oder Auseinanderfallen des auf dem Brett befindlichen Schriftsatzes zu verhindern, ohne jedoch dessen Abschieben in irgend einer Weise zu beeinträchtigen. Die Vorrichtung ist außerordentlich einfach und besteht, wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, aus einem aus Winkeleisen ο. dgl. hergestellten Bügel, der aus einer Leiste α und den beiden Schenkeln b und c besteht.
