Die Erfindung betrifft einen bogenförmigen Strecker zum Ausbreiten von Geweben. Derselbe besteht aus einem auf einer bogenförmigen Achse frei drehbaren schraubengangförmig gewundenen Draht. Während bei den · bekannten Ausführungsformen . dieser Breitstrecker die Windungen des Drahtes von einem Ende bis zum anderen ihre Richtung nicht ändern, sind dieselben beim Erfindungsgegenstand auf der einen Hälfte der Achse links und auf der anderen rechts gewunden. Diese Anordnung hat zur Folge, daß das Gewebe von der mittleren Längsachse aus nach beiden Seiten gleichmäßig gestreckt wird und der Breitstrecker ohne Schutzdecke angewendet werden kann.The invention relates to an arcuate straightener for spreading tissues.
