Ein Führungsstück e, welches einen unten mit einer Erweiterung g versehenen Schlitz/ besitzt, dient zur Aufnahme der Enden der Spriegel a, b, c, d des Verdecks. Das untere zylindrische Ende des Führungsstückes e hat eine Vertiefung h, in welche ein Federbolzen k des am Wagenkasten angebrachten Lagers i eingreift und somit das Führungsstück e festhält (Fig. 3). Die Spriegel a, b, c und d des Verdecks sind in dem Schlitze/ des Führungsstückes e mittels Zapfen gelagert und können sich im Kreise drehen und in der Höhenrichtung verschieben. Die Enden der Spriegel a, b, c und d werden durch die Erweiterung g der Reihe nach in das nach oben abgeflachte Führungsstück e eingeführt und dann zugleich mit diesem auf den Wagenkasten aufgesetzt. Der untere Spriegel d ist bei m in der gleichen Weise wie das Führungsstück e mit dem Wagenkasten verbunden und an seinem Ende derart aufwärts gebogen, daß er über die Erweiterung g des Schlitzes f ragt und dadurch verhindert, daß die oberen Spriegel a, b und c aus dem Schlitz / heraustreten können. Durch die Lagerung der Spriegel a, b, c und d in dem Schlitze / wird erreicht, daß ein beim Niederklappen des Verdecks zufällig zwischen die einzelnen Spriegel gebrachter Finger oder eine Hand nicht gequetscht werden kann (Fig. 5 und 6).A guide piece e, which has a slot / provided with an extension g at the bottom, is used to accommodate the ends of the bows a, b, c, d of the convertible top.
