Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Versteifungsstab aus Stahldraht für Korsetts,
Taillen u. dgl., der bei geringem Gewicht und kleiner Dicke den Vorteil großer HaItbarkeit
und bedeutender Federkraft besitzt. Auf der Zeichnung ist der Versteifungsstab dargestellt, und zwar zeigt:
Fig. I eine Ansicht und
Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt nach Linie A-B. ίο Der Stab besteht aus einem nicht rostenden
Federstahldraht, z. B. Aluminium-, Silberstahl- oder sonst geeignetem Metalldraht,
der in Gestalt einer flachgedrückten Spirale gebogen ist. Durch die Art der Wicklung
hat man es in der Hand, den Stab an der Stelle, wo er den größten Widerstand zu leisten hat, z. B. an der Tailleneinbiegung,
auch den stärksten Querschnitt zu geben und diesen nach den Enden zu in jeder gewünschten
Weise durch Verminderung der Windungen abnehmen zu lassen. Die einzelnen Windungen werden miteinander verlötet
und auch die Ösen b durch Lötung gebildet.
