Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Einrichtung an Töpfen, bei welchen der luft-. dichte Deckelverschluß durch den im Topf steckenden Löffel oder Spaten hergestellt werden soll. Bei den bisherigen Einrichtungen, bei welchen eine kleine Aussparung entsprechend der Löffelstärke beispielsweise am Deckel von Senftöpfen angebracht ist, zeigte sich der Nachteil, daß diese Verschlußvorrichtung den gewünschten luftdichten Abschluß nicht gewährte, daß vielmehr der Inhalt des Topfes sehr schnell austrocknete oder in Fäulnis überging. Diesem Mangel hilft die vorliegende Erfindung dadurch ab, daß mit Hilfe des Löffels oder Spatens der Deckel fest an den Topf angepreßt wird. Der bei a¹ angelenkte Deckel α ist bei a² nutenförmig ausgespart und legt sich in geschlossenem Zustand (Fig. 1) gegen einen Rand b¹ des Topfes b an. An seiner Innenfläche besitzt er eine prismatische Erhöhung α³, welche in ihrer Höhe mit dem den Löffel c aufnehmenden, mit dem Topf ein festes Ganzes bildenden Konsol d übereinstimmt. Der Löffel c ist mit einem Bund c¹ und mit Nasen c² versehen, so daß bei geschlossenem Deckel (Fig. 1 und 2) durch Drehung des Löffels Topf und Deckel luftdicht gegeneinander gepreßt werden. Zwecks Öffnung des Deckels bedarf es nur der Drehung des Löffels oder Spatens c um 90⁰ (Fig. 3), wodurch auch der Deckel sofort freigegeben wird. Ein mit dieser Verschlußvorrichtung versehener Topf eignet sich vorzugsweise für Apotheken sowie Hotels zum Einmachen von Früchten oder Honig u. dgl.The lid α hinged at a ¹ is recessed in the shape of a ^{groove at a 2} and, in the closed state (FIG. 1), rests against an edge b ^{1 of} the pot b .
