Multicomponent threads and fibers with the resulting bulk. The invention
concerns multi-component threads and fibers, preferably bicomponent threads and fibers,
made of synthetic linear polymers such as polyarides and polyesters
with increased bulk.
It is known to bring together several spinning components before, in or after the fine bores of the nozzle plate 3n in a suitable manner for the production of multicomponent, -fäde.n, so that a constancy of the Bertihrungsfläohe along the thread axis in the individual capillaries is achieved. Compound threads are obtained which have a uniform cross-sectional distribution in the entire longitudinal direction. This equal and constant cross-sectional distribution of the spinning components in all capillaries of a polyfilament thread bundle is intended to achieve a uniform crimped pattern of the threads.
With approximately the same curling intensity and the same number of curling arcs
per cm of the individual capillaries, however, the curling arcs lay in one another; -,
as a result, a reduction in the crimp volume of the threads is obtained.

a certain number of capillaries, one and a certain number, the other having a volume distribution. For example , individual capillaries of a thread with a round cross-section and segment structures can have a cross-sectional distribution of the components of 2 : 1, while others have a 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 distribution. This composition depends on the construction of the nozzle package, in particular the arrangement of the nozzle bores , and does not change during the run of the nozzle . In filaments with a profiled cross-section and segment st stru ctu re the location of the spinning components and their distribution can also be varied. When filaments having a core-shell structure is a variation of the volume ratio of core to sheath in relatively wide ranges mögliohv for example from 1: 1 to 1.:5, at the same time the eccentricity of the core components or may be different.

der Komponenten zu den einzelnen
Düsenborhungen erfolgen. The different cross-sonality distribution of the compo-. nenten in the individual capillaries can be done by differently supplying the components to the individual nozzle drilled holes .

If the supply channels are less likely to be divided into two halves by a partition , the different supply of components A and B to the painful holes can be achieved by arranging them on different edge hole circles . The conical pilot bores are divided by the side wall in the middle between the marginal hole circles, for example in a ratio of 2 : 1 to 1 : 2 , although the ratio of the volumes of all supply bores of a nozzle plate from A to B is the same as the proportion of the components set by the MoeIer pumps fully. In the row nozzle plates, the conical pre-bores are arranged alternately in rows, which are 1 to 3 mm apart, so that the partition arranged in the middle between 2 lines divides the conical pre-bores unevenly, for example in a ratio of 2: 1 to 1: 2 .

Finally, constant curl differences in the capillaries can be obtained by spinning capillaries with generally different profiles from a nozzle plate. Since, with the same cross-sectional distributions of the components, different pre-orientations arise due to a changed surface and thus due to different cooling of the capillaries, these show a different curl formation after stretching and fixing are spun, the capillaries of which have segment structures and a volume ratio of the components of 2 * 1 round and three-pointed or round and trilobal cross-sons.
