verringerter Gutzufuhr dagegen verlangsamt.
Umfangsrichtung verlaufenden Rillen versehen.

Beim Einlauf in
In diesem Bereich weisen
The invention relates to a device for producing a winding strand from agricultural harvested material, in particular hay, which is fed to a winding space which is limited by winding rollers which can be adjusted obliquely with respect to its central axis to generate an axial movement component of the winding strand is. In a known device of this type (DAS 1 238 709) it is to be achieved by changing the inclination of the winding rollers relative to the axis of the winding space that the degree of compression can be adapted to the different types of crop to be wound. In a further known wrapping device (USA Patent 3 244 088), the inclined position of the winding rollers is also changed hydraulically to match the degree of compression to a specific crop. A particular difficulty with such wrapping devices is that, due to the nature of the harvested crop, it can never be fed to the wrapping space in a completely uniform manner. The harvested crop therefore reaches the wrapping area in different amounts per unit of time. The consequence of this is that with a constant axial feed, the winding strand is pressed differently or blockages and damage occur. The invention is based on the object of further developing the device of the type mentioned at the outset while eliminating the disadvantages listed. The device according to the invention is essentially characterized in that the inclined position of the winding rollers is automatically and continuously adjustable during operation as a function of the degree of filling or the hadial pressure exerted by the winding strand. When there is an increased supply of material, the removal of the winding strand is automatically accelerated, while it is slowed down when the supply of material is reduced. In this way, a uniform degree of compression can be achieved automatically. The risk of clogging and damage is practically eliminated. It has been found to be particularly advantageous if the winding rollers are fixed at one end and rotatably and pivotably arranged at the other end on a ring carrier coaxial to the center axis of the winding space, which counteracts the adjustable force of a spring or a weight that the winding rollers holds in its non-pivoted position, is rotatably mounted in a housing firmly connected to the machine frame about the iiitteiachse of the winding room. Appropriately, the ring carrier is about a some o
Angle range before. 0 to 30 around the center axis of the winding
infinitely swiveling around the room. The drive-side bearings of the winding rollers advantageously consist of a radially supported universal joint bearing which connects each winding roller to a drive shaft and, according to the invention, a ball pin provided on the drive shaft which is mounted in a ball socket, a ball housing pivotably containing the ball socket, connected to the winding roller, and as a driver connection between the drive shaft and the winding roller two bolts offset from one another by 180o, which protrude radially from the ball pivot and engage in the ball socket, and two further bolts connecting the ball socket with the ball housing fall over; which are offset from the former by 900 in the same plane and whose central axes, like those of the first bolts, pass through the common pivot point of the ball stud, ball socket and ball housing. This bearing construction enables a cardanic drive of the winding roller with simultaneous perfect radial support of the hohn Radia & ücke. Another feature of the invention is that the ring carrier is connected to a pulling element which leads to the driver's seat of the tractor pulling the machine and by means of which an extreme inclined position of the winding rollers can be brought about. The ring carrier is expediently connected to a release clutch via a lever linkage, by means of which the drive of the winding rollers upstream can be switched off automatically in the event of an extremely inclined position of the winding rollers. If any malfunctions occur in the changing room, the driver can use the pulling element to set the winding rollers extremely inclined, which results in rapid emptying of the changing room. So that no more goods are brought into the winding room, the drive of the feeding devices is automatically switched off. In a further exemplary embodiment according to the invention, the winding rollers are initially widened conically at their outlet end and then tapered again, and in this area they are provided with grooves running in the circumferential direction. As a result of this measure, the winding strand receives a further solidification of its surface shortly before it emerges from the winding space. Further essential details, advantages and features of the invention emerge from the following description and the drawing of exemplary embodiments. 1 shows a side view of a hay-winding machine, FIG. 2 shows a side view of the winding device of the hay-winding machine according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a front view of the winding device with a longitudinal section through a winding roller, FIG. 4 is a cross-section through a drive-side hager of the winding roller 5 shows a section along line VV of FIG. 4, FIG. 6 shows a top view of the winding device according to FIG. 2 with inclined winding rollers, FIG. 7 shows a side view of the winding device with disengaging clutch for the feed members and FIG. 8 shows a front view of the device according to FIG. 7. The schematic drawing illustrates a hay-winding machine in which the material lying on the ground is picked up with a pick-up device 1. A screw conveyor 1 'conveys the material to the center, from where it is transported on by a belt conveyor 1 "and fed to a winding space 4 via feed members 2 and 3. The winding roller 4 is formed by winding rollers 5 which are arranged on a circular arc around the center axis of the winding space The winding rollers 5 are rotatably and pivotably mounted in self-aligning ball bearings 7 within the winding roller 5 on a journal 8 of the winding roller in a ring carrier 6 coaxial with the center axis of the winding space 4 and connecting the ends of the winding rollers The ring carrier 6 is rotatably mounted in a housing 9 rigidly connected to the machine about the central axis of the winding space 4. The other end of each winding roller 5 is supported on a drive shaft 10 in universal joint bearings 11. The hager i1 (Fig. 4 and 5) comprise a ball stud 12 which is fixedly connected to the drive shaft 10. The ball stud 12 is t mounted pivotably in a coaxial spherical shell 13, which consists of two spherical half-shells. The spherical shell 13, in turn, is also seated in a pivotable manner in a spherical housing 14 which is firmly connected to the winding roller 5. The driver connection between the drive shaft 10 and the winding roller 5 is established by bolts 15 and 16. Two bolts 15 offset from one another by 180 ° are firmly connected to the ball stud 12, protrude radially from it and engage in the ball socket 13. However, they do not protrude beyond the outer edge of the spherical shell 13. Two further bolts 1n are arranged offset by 90 ° with respect to bolts 15 in the same plane and connect ball socket 13 to ball housing 14. The pairs of bolts 15 and 16 form the two joint axes of a cardanic universal joint. Since the central axes of the bolts 15 and 16 pass through the common pivot point of the ball studs 12, the ball socket 13 and the ball housing 14, the winding roller 5 can pivot about the central axis of the bolts 15 and 16 while rotating the winding roller about its longitudinal central axis. The ball housing 14 moves when pivoted about the bolts 15 together with the ball socket 13 relative to the ball stud 12 and when pivoted about the bolts 16 relative to the ball socket 13 and to the ball stud 12. The universal joint bearing 11 is covered with a spherical sealing cap 17. A lever 18 is attached to the ring carrier 6, a weight 19 is attached to its free end. The weight 19 tries to pivot the ring carrier 6 with the winding rollers 5 about the longitudinal center axis of the winding space 4. A stop 20 limits the pivoting path of the winding rollers 5. In this stop position, the winding rollers 5 are in their unswiveled position; the axes of the winding rollers 5 are parallel to the axis of the winding space 4. The winding rollers 5 are all driven in the same direction. As a result of the increasing radial pressure of the winding strand 4 'forming between the winding rollers 5, the circumferential force on the winding rollers 5 is also greater. The tendency of the winding rollers to roll along the winding strand 4 'in the circumferential direction of the winding space increases until finally a joint pivoting of the winding rollers against the weight 19 acting on the ring carrier 6 about the hinge centers of the universal joint bearings.11 takes place. Included becomes the axial movement component of the inclined
will
Winding rollers effective, the winding strand 4 '/ in the axial direction
transported away. The removal of the winding strand 4 'results in a reduction in the radial pressure on the winding rollers 5, which in turn affects the inclined position of the winding rollers. A state of equilibrium is established, which is only disturbed by irregularities in the winding strand. Such irregularities are then compensated for again by the automatic control of the axial feed. The weight 19 which determines the resetting force of the winding rollers can be selected depending on the desired compression of the winding strand or - as in the example shown in FIG. 7 - the effective lever arm on which the weight 19 acts can be adjusted. Instead of the adjustable weight 19, an adjustable spring can also be used. In order to obtain rapid emptying of the winding space in the event of malfunctions in the winding space 4, the winding rollers 5 can also be forcibly pivoted. A bolt 21 of the lever 18 engages in an elongated slot 22 of a push rod 23, which is connected to an angle lever 24 in an articulated manner. The angle lever 24 is pivotably mounted in a hinge point 25 of the machine frame. A rope 26 is attached to one end of the angle lever 24; that leads to the driver's seat of the machine. The other end of the bell crank 24 is by a shift pawl 27 for actuating a release clutch
2 and
28 formed, which ensures the drive of the feeder device.
If the driver pulls on the rope 26, the lever 18 with the ring carrier 6 is thereby pivoted over the push rod 23. A stop 29 limits the movement of the lever 18. The winding rollers 5 have reached their extreme inclined position after passing through an angular range of approximately 30 ° in this position. When entering this inclined position, the angle lever 24 is pivoted so far that the switching claw 27 -the drive of the closed. guide members 3 interrupts and no more goods get into the changing room 4. The winding space 4 is quickly emptied by the inclined winding rollers. By letting go of the rope 26, normal operation of the machine can be resumed. In order to increase the axial conveyance of the winding strand 4 ', a conical mandrel 30 is provided in the winding space 4 and has a buttress thread 31 on its surface. The mandrel 30 is driven by a main drive shaft 32 for the winding rollers 5 and rotates approximately twice as fast as the winding rollers 5. The higher speed and the buttress thread on the circumference of the mandrel exert pressure in the axial direction on the winding strand. To solidify the winding strand 4 ', in particular its surface, the winding rollers 5 are conically widened at their outlet end 33 and then tapered again. In this area, the winding rollers 5 have grooves 34 running in the circumferential direction. As a result, the exit cross-section of the winding space 4 is somewhat reduced and the compression of the winding strand 4 'is increased shortly before its exit. The grooves 34 roll indentations in the surface. of the winding strand 4 ', which prevent the winding strand, which is later cut into pieces, from rolling apart or falling apart.
