- An der Außenseite des Gehäusemantels ist das biegsame Metallband e befestigt, dessen anderes Ende in einem Rollenkloben/ hängt, der mit den die Handgriffe o. dgl. tragenden Zugbändern verbunden ist und bei dessen Gebrauch Hubbewegungen ausführt, wonach durch die Zugwirkung der Spiralfeder b das Metallband e um den Gehäusemantel gewickelt wird. Hierbei unterstützt die eigene Elastizität des Metallbandes die Spiralfeder, während diese bei einem Gurte oder einem Riemen noch Kraft zum Aufwickeln desselben abgeben muß und daher beim Vor- und Rückzuge dem Turner keinen gleichmäßigen Widerstand bieten kann. In zwei mit Schlitzen versehenen, im Gestelle gelagerten Lederpfropfen g erhält das Metallband eine Führung, um in gerader Richtung auf den Mantel c aufzurollen.
