The invention relates to a device state or in a sticky state, while it is on rotating drums for drying and at the greatest possible angle of rotation of the drum, the heat treatment or cooling of which slips from the lifting blades and especially sticky substances in powdery, granular form when they are down fall the coated by the treatment gases or crystalline form through heat exchange 5 drum cross-section on the entire axial range between the substance and a gaseous agent, stretching of the drum largely and in one whereby both fills axially through the drum evenly and evenly distribution and thereby the flow or countercurrent and the treatment flowing through the drum utilizes the drum with the lung gases distributed over the circumference as intensively as possible.
Cross-section curved lifting blades is provided, io This object is achieved with a device through which the substance is carried up during the circulation of the drum drying flow meal of the type mentioned above and whose leading edge is achieved according to the invention in that the lift is formed alternately with tongues and gaps. blades as continuous, essentially radial
Auf diese Weise fällt von jeder Leiste der Stoff trocken und rieselfähig ist und durch die der von ihr bzw. von ihren Zungen mitgenommene schmalen Zahnlücken der Leisten hindurchzurieseln Stoff teilweise vor und teilweise nach dem höchsten vermag, was jedoch bei klebrigem Gut nicht der 30 Punkt der Trommel ab, und auf Grund der Vielzahl Fall ist. von über den Umfang der Trommel verteilten, LeistenThere are, for example, devices on rotatable strips arranged on the drum wall drying drums are known in which the lifting drums are 15 , on the front edge of which blades are arranged with a wide spacing in the expensive and complicated shape of tongues with a wide inner edge, are formed as trough-shaped containers, which with the strips form an angle in the range of where at that edge of the container over which 90 to 130 ° form and the material is bent out in the direction of rotation during the rotation of the drum. This has the effect that the saw-like toothed strips lying on the trickling, roughly tangential to the circumferential direction of the strips opposite the gaps between the tongues of the drum are arranged before the highest position of the, through the gaps in the teeth of the strips and after falling through these gaps a rain slides out of the tub-shaped slides, while it is supposed to trickle up from the tongues. A major disadvantage of raised material due to the highest position of the strips of this device is that the trickling out of the tub-shaped containers during the rotation of the drum continues in the manner intended by the tongues and can only then occur gradually when slips down. In this way, the material falls from each strip is dry and free-flowing and through which the narrow gaps in the teeth of the strips carried along by it or by its tongues can trickle through material partly before and partly after the highest, but this is not the 30 point of the sticky material Drum off, and due to the multitude of cases. of strips distributed over the circumference of the drum

If there is a straight, continuous front edge, the rotating drum consists of the casing 1 that the material carried along by a strip approximately and the two annular end walls 2. At the same time over the entire length of the 55 by means of the two rollers attached to the casing Bar in the axial direction of the drum over the straight rings 3, the drum begins to fall down by two pairs of rolling leading edges and the wheels 4 are carried, one wheel of each pair being driven to empty the bar on its entire lifting surface. In operation, the drum rotates around the same time it stops. Such in the sense of the arrow Ä. The longitudinal strips are denoted by 7. Each bar 7 is provided with a series of flat and wide tongues 8 arranged next to one another, between which relatively wide gaps 9 are provided. These lifting blades 7, 8 are bent at an angle along a line which coincides with the base of the tongues 8 and with the leading edge of the strips 7, this edge extending in a straight line in the longitudinal direction of the drum. The angle that the tongues 8 form with the continuous strips 7 is preferably 120 ° as in the embodiment shown (FIG. 5), with certain deviations upwards or downwards, for example ± 10 °. Other angles, for example 90 ° (FIG. 7), can also be advantageous in some cases. The angle that the bar 7 forms with the shell of the drum is also important. The strips 7 are preferably attached radially opposite the inside of the drum shell, as in the embodiment shown. The tongues 8 should extend in the circumferential direction of the drum and in the direction of rotation, as is the case with the selected angle value of 120 °, or exactly tangentially, as is the case with an angle value of 90 °.
With such a design and arrangement of the lifting blades 7, 8, each lifting blade is in their Upward movement first let the amount of fabric slide down on the continuous part of the Bar 7 is opposite the gaps 9, as this material slides through the wide gaps, and later after the highest position of the lifting shovel is exceeded in the spinning drum, slide down the amount of fabric that is on the Tongues 8 and on the bar 7 opposite the tongues 8 lies. The sliding down and falling of the The material from a lifting shovel therefore starts early and continues for a long time. The entire amount of fabric will not slide or fall down at once. As a result, there will be a substantial increase in size that part of the cross section of the drum achieved with the freely falling material is satisfied. Tests have shown that essentially the entire cross-section of the falling material is satisfied.
B. zur Erleichterung der Staubabscheidung, eine SektoreinheitIn its middle part, the drum is shown in FIG. 1 provided with permanently attached lifting blades 7, 8 (FIG. 3), which are attached to the inside of the drum, for example by means of angle pieces 10. In their right end part, the lifting blades 7, 8 are assembled by end rings 11 to form a separate insert, which has a smaller outer diameter than the inner diameter of the drum and can roll freely in the drum, the insert occupying an eccentric position in the drum (see space S above in FIGS. 1 and 4). This design is particularly suitable for the treatment of adhesive materials because it prevents the adhesive material from sticking to the tongues and in the gaps in the lifting blades. Either of these two versions of the lifting blades can also be used for the entire length of the drum. At the discharge end, the drum can be free of lifting blades. In the part of the drum free of lifting blades, e.g. B. to facilitate dust separation, a sector unit
65 are arranged. The sector unit, which consists of the channel-shaped sectors 12 and the longitudinal partition walls 13, can be permanently installed in the drum, as shown in FIG. 2 illustrates. If a freely rolling lifting shovel insert is used, the sector unit is expediently combined with the lifting shovel insert. For example, the radial walls of the sectors 12 can be designed with strip-shaped extensions 7 ', as shown in FIG. 8, 9 and 10 show. These extensions form the strips described and are provided on their inner edges with tongues 8 'which alternate with gaps 9'.
The lifting blades 7, 8 or 7 ', 8' are advantageously used as supporting members for helically extending conveyor rails. These conveyor rails are preferably divided into individual conveyor plates 15, which extend obliquely between two lifting shovels and can be attached in the gaps or 9 'between the tongues 8 and 8' of the lifting blades, so that they have relatively large spaces opposite the inside of the Form drum. This ensures that the conveyor plates 15 only become effective when the substance to be treated has reached a certain level in the drum. The amount of substance conveyed in the longitudinal direction of the drum increases as the load increases.
