(Anmeldung T 30 724 11l47 c).Hydrodynamic Brake The invention relates to a hydrodynamic brake
Brake, consisting of a stationary brake housing with pressure medium connections,
in which one or more stators and rotors are arranged, the rotors
by an automatic one, depending on the pressure applied to the brake
Coupling system connected to the brake shaft rotatably mounted in the brake housing
are, according to patent .... (application T 30 724 11147 c).
6 und dem Synchronisierkörper 7 sind mehrere Federn 9 gleichmäßig auf eirlem @iro@.srin;
As already stated in the main patent, it is hydrodynamic
Braking required to keep the idle power as low as possible, as the brake shaft
the hydrodynamic brake firmly to the drive unit of the vehicle to be braked
is coupled and therefore runs continuously while driving. To achieve
these requirements is proposed according to the main patent, the rotors a
hydrodynamic brake via a clutch system with the rotatable in the brake housing
to connect mounted brake shaft, automatically depending on the pressure
between the blade rings of the rotors and stators, the rotors idling by
the brake shaft releases and couples with the brake shaft during operation. This coupling system
consists of a base body, a synchronizing disc and a coupling piece,
as well as two between the base body and the Synchronisiersoheibe on the one hand and
the synchronizing disc and the coupling piece
on the other hand arranged
Spring assemblies that work together to create a claw clutch and a friction clutch
represent, the friction clutch, the two clutch halves of the Klauenkupplunb
brings it into synchronism before engaging. The rotor is over the coupling piece
stored on the base body connected to the brake shaft, so that even in disengaged
Condition of the rotor is a loss of friction between those with the rotating brake shaft
connected and connected to the stationary rotor components. The invention
is based on the task of a hydrodynamic brake according to the main patent
create whose power loss when idling is lower than with the object
of the main patent. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the brake housing
the hydrodynamic brake has at least two cylindrical bores, in
those of the rotors or rotors are mounted in the brake release position, so that no
torque-transmitting connection between the rotors and the brake shaft
rotating parts of the clutch system. This ensures that the
In the release position, the parts of the brake that rest are separated from the brake shaft in the brake housing
are stored. An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing
and is described in more detail below. A stator 2 is located in the brake housing 1
and a rotor 3 is arranged. The stator 2 is connected to the brake housing 2 in a rotationally fixed manner.
The rotor 3 is via a clutch system 4 on the brake shaft 5, which is in the brake housing
rotatably mounted
is arranged. The coupling system 4 consists
essentially consisting of a base body 6, a synchronizing body 7 and a
Coupling piece 8, the. in cooperation a dog clutch 11 and a friction clutch
12 represent. The claws of the claw coupling are on the base body 6 and the coupling piece
8 arranged, the coupling piece 8 simultaneously with a ionic friction surface
is provided, which is in connection with the corresponding counter friction on the synchronizing body
7 forms the friction clutch 12. The synchronizing body 7 is on the base body
6 mounted longitudinally displaceable and secured against rotation by a PaB spring 13.
The axial displaceability of the synchronizing body 7 is in one direction
through the main body 6 itself and in the other direction through one on the foot
of the base body 6 arranged snap ring 15 limited. Daischen the main body
6 and the synchronizing body 7 are several springs 9 evenly on eirlem @ iro @ .srin;
distributed angeorär: et, through which the S- ° aichro.is.siorkbody 7 in iluhestellmig the
The brake is pressed firmly against the wharf strike 15. The coupling piece 8 is with the
Rotor 3 of the hydrodynamic brake screwed and in the rest position in the cylindrical
Bores 16 and 14 in the brake housing 1 are mounted in a longitudinally displaceable and rotatable manner. Around
to move the coupling piece 8 axially for disengaging after switching off the brake,
a pressure piece 19 is provided on the base body 6, onto which the in the spring carrier
20 arranged springs 10 act. The two blade rings are in operation
of rotor 3 and stator 2 of the hydrodynamic brake with pressure medium
filled
and the rotor 3 is connected to the brake shaft 5 via the clutch system 4. the
Springs 9 and 10 are protected by the pressure between rotor 3 and stator 2
existing axial force tensioned. The torque transmission from the rotor 3 to the
Brake shaft 5 takes place via the engaged dog clutch 11 of the clutch system
4. When switching off the hydrodynamic brake, the pressure medium flow is through
the channel 18 is blocked. The one located in the blade rings of hotor 3 and stator 2
Pressure medium is displaced by the pumping action of the rotor 3 through the between the rotor 3
and stator 2 on the outer circumference existing annular gap is pumped into the housing space 19
and passed through a drain into a collecting container, so that between the
The existing pressure drops and the pressure on the rotor 3e decreases
axial compressive forces are less than the preload forces of the springs 10. By
the springs 10, is therefore the rotor 3 with the coupling piece 8 over the pressure piece
21 axially shifted towards the stator 2 until the claws of the claw coupling
11 no longer interlock.
The coupling piece 8 slides into the two bearing bores 16 and 14
in the brake housing 1 and separates the pressure chamber 17 from the blade chamber between the rotor
3 and stator 2. At the same time, as a result of the pressure drop, the one acting as a piston also becomes
Synchronizing body 7 axially displaced against stop 15 by springs 9.
The rotor; and the coupling piece 8 are now completely different from the one with the brake shaft
rotating clutch parts released, so that the idle power loss of the brake
only in the friction of the brake shaft bearings and the sealing rings between the brake shaft
5 and the brake housing 1 consists. When the brake is switched on, the inlet duct is used
18 pressurized pressure medium supplied, which in
the pressure room
17 arrives and the synchronizing body 7 acting as a piston against the coupling piece
8 shifts so that the friction surfaces of the friction clutch 12 bear against one another
and the rotor 3 is accelerated via the coupling piece 8. Has the rotor 3 the
the same angular velocity as the brake shaft 5, it is through the in the pressure chamber
17 further increasing pressure over the synchronizing body 7 against the force of the
Springs 10 and 9 shifted to the left, so that the claws of the dog clutch 11 into one another
grip and connect the rotor 3 to the brake shaft 5 in a rotationally fixed manner. The coupling piece
8 here slides out of the bearing bores 16 and 14, so that the blade space between
The rotor and stator are connected to the outlet channel 18 via the pressure chamber 17. the
both blade rings are now filled with the pressure medium and the one between the stator
2 and rotor 3 resulting axial thrust holds the rotor 3 in its jaws. Warehousing
of the rotor 3 in the coupled state, takes place via the coupling piece 8 on which
Spring carrier 20 on the one hand and on the synchronizing body 7 on the other hand.
