cherheitsbacken als auch zur Erte'agung des TiastwiderstanQ
des, der beim Attttreten eines unzulässig grölen Zugmomen-
tes Ir. sonkrechter Richtung überci- roden wird.
Venn such die Bindung nach der älteren Anmeldung
don 1%rtoilt hat, mit einem Nindeataaß bewegter Teile aus-
zukommen, und sehr billig herstellbar zu sein und sich
ferner durch ein außerordentlich geringes Gewicht auszeich-
net, so mu$ doch. bei der älteren z"imteigbindung noch bei
der Auswahl des Federstahldrahtbügels darauf geachtet wer-
den, daß er einerseits den Andruck nach vorne vermitteln
. und andererseits den überwindbaren Rastwiderstand aufbrin-
gen muB. Es hat sich nun herausgestellt, daß es Schwierig-
keiten bereiten kann, bei ein und demselben Yederstahl-
drahtbügel diesen beiden Forderungen in Jeweils optimier
Weise zu entsprechen. Ausserdem ergibt sich aus der Tat-
sache, daB der Federbügel selbst einen Teil der Rastvor-
richtung bildet, daßfedernde Bewegungen des Abeatses
senkrecht zur Skioberfläche, xle sie bei gewb'hnliche:r.
Fahr-
weise möglich sein sollten, so gut wIe a=iegeschlossen
sind, daß also der Fuß sehr fest au£ d.-n Ski testgeüalten
wird, Wodurch sich-frühzeitig Sr@aüäungseracheinungen ein-
stellen.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine weiter verbesserte Ye-
derbügel-Einsteigbindung. Erfindungsgemäß ist eine Yersen-
haltevorriehtung für Sicherheits-Skibindwngm mit einem
am Ski schwenkbar gelagerten Schwenkglied" welches einen
in Gebrauchaatellung die iobl e im Absatzbereich übergrei-
fenden Sohlenhalter und ein Schließpedal aufweist und bei
Auftreten einer übermäßigen, etwa senkrecht nach oben ge-
richteten Zugkraft unter itberwindung.sines elastischen Wider-
standes nabL"xin:cen schwenkbar-'ist, so ausgestaltet, des
das Schwenkglied aus zwei zueinander parallelen, etwa U-
fö-#-m-igen Bügeln au.s starkem Pederstahldraht besteht, die
an einem Ende an einer auf dem Ski befestigten Grundplatte
Bim eine zur Skioberfläche parallel: Ichs. schwenkbar gela-
gert sind und an ihrem anderen Erxäe ge:einE uR den
vorzugs-
weise höhenverstellbaren Sohlenhalter und das Schließpedal
tragen, das an einen nahe der Lagerstelle

begrenzt
gegen eine vorzugsweise verstellbare Federkraft schbAc.-
gelagerten Hebelglied ein mit dem Schwenkglied zusa=enwir-
kendes Riegelglied vorgesehen ist und daß der Eingriff des
Riegelgliedes nach Zurücklegen eines bestimmten Schwenkweg
gils des Schwenkgliedes und des Hebelgliedes gelöst wird.
Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Per-,senhaltevorrichtung haben
die U-fär»igen Federbügel nur die Aufgabe, den notwendigen
Andruck des Fußes gegen den Vorderbacken sicher zu stellen,
da' sie sich beim Einsteigen des Fußes in die Bindung infol-
ge eines entsprechend gewählten Abstandes zwischen dem Vor--
derbadenund der Ferflenhaltevorrichtung elastisch verformen
und wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Stellung zurückzukehren
bestrebt sind. Die Elastizität der Federbügel ist anderer-
caits für die Freigabe des Fußes nicht maBgoblich, diese
wird vielmehr wegabhängig dadurch erreicht, daß nach einem

mit den Fuß in die Normalstellung auf dem Ski zurückzuf'üh-
rƒn, so däIsich eine elastische Abfederung der beim
ge-
wä'hnlichan Skilauf auftretenden Bewegungen des Absatzes
senkrecht zur Skioberfläche ergibt und Ermüdungserschei-
nlxngen weitgehend vermieden werden.
Weitere Merkmale und Vorteile der erfindungsgemäßen
Fersenhaltevorrichtung sind in der nachstehenden Beschrei-
bung anhand der Zeichnung dargelegt, in der mehrere Ausfüh-
rungsbeispiele gezeigt sind. In der Zeichnung steigen:

auf dem Ski: I mittels der Schrauben 2 die Grundputte 3
befestigt. Die Grundplatte 3 wiederum ist mit zwei hoch-
stehenden Laschen, 4,5 versehen, in welchen
einerseits
die zwei Pederbügel 6,? eingehänst sind und zum anderen
der federbelastete Hebel 9 seit Riffe den Bolzens 8 schwenk-
bar gelagert ist. Auf der Grundplatte 3 ist ausasrdea noch
ein GewiMebölzen 10 befestigt, an dessen oberem Bade eine
Stellmutter 11 aufgeacbraubt ist, an der sich die den Hebel
9 belastende peder 12 abstiit$t. An den Hobel 9

sinn. In vorderen Bereich der beiden gedertlügel 6 und ?
ist mit Hilfe des Kleumstückes 18 und der Schraube 19 ein
8ockenteil 20 angebracht. Dieses Nockanteil 20 besitzt an
seinem unteren Ende ein zum Schuhabsatz hinweisenden Schließ-
pedal 21, auf Welches die Schubsohle beim Einsteigen in
die
Bindung auftrifft. Zur höhenverstellbaren Befestigung des
Sohlenhalters 22 auf dem Nockenteil 20 sind an den BerUh-
rungsflächen 23 $usanautanw3.rkende Versahnungen
vorgesehen.
Ausserdem ist noch eine Befestigungsschraube 24 vorgesehen,
die den Sohlenhalter 22 gegen das Nockenteil 20 anpreßt.
Das Hockanteil ist zusätzlich noch mit einer Hase 25 vor-
sehen, gegen die sich der Schwenkriegel 14 abstützt. Unk
nun ein leichtes öffnen zum Zwecke des Aassteigens aus der
Bindung zu ermöglichen, ist in den Laschen 26 der Wand 1?
ein S-förmiger Öffnungshebel gelagert, dessen isurück-
gebogener Hebelarm 27 auf den Riegel wirkt, während
der andere Hebelara 28 aus dem nicht dargestellten Ge-
häuse der Fersenauslösevorrichtung herausgeführt ist
und als Betätigungshandhabe dient. Wird der Hebelara 28
nach unten gedrückt, so bewegt sich der zurückgebogene
Hebel 27 nach oben gegen den Riegel 14 und verdreht die-
sen solange, bis die Nase 25 mit den Riegel 14 außer
Eingriff gelangt.
Wie aus Fig. 3 und 4 ersichtlich, geht die Aualö-
sung bei Auftreten unzulässig großer nach oben gerichte-
ter gr'Ute so vor sich, da$ die Nase 25 bei Aufwärtsbe-
wegung des Sohlenhalters den Riegel 14 und somit über
den Bolzen 13 auch den Hebel 9 nach oben mitnimt. Dabei
stützt sich der obere Hebelarm 16 des Riegels an der fe-
sten Wand 17 ab und gleitet entlang dieser nach oben.
Wie in der Big. 4 gezeigt vird, verdreht sich der
Schwenkriegel entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn, sobald er den
kurvenfüraig gebogenen Bereich 29 der Wand erreicht. Durch
diese Verdrehung kommt die Base 25 mit den Riegel außer
Eingriff und der Sohlenhalter kann frei nach oben schwen-
ken. Sobald aber der Sohlenhalter freikommt, klappt der
Hebel 9 unter der Wirkung der Bader 12 wieder nach unten.
Die Big. 4 zeigt also die Bindung in einer Stellung, in
welcher die Nase gerade von dem Schwenkriegel
freikoamt.
Da der Schuh beiz Einsteigen in die Bindung erst in den
Vorderbacken eingepetzt wird und sich dann erst-der Ab-
satz nach unten bewegt, beschreibt das Abeatsende einen
B-r:isbogeno Es bewegt sich also das Absatzende nach hin-
ten und drückt die nach unten offenen

dessen oberem Ende eine Mutter 48 aufgeschraubt ist, die
als Gegenlager für die den Hebel. 35 belastende Feder 41
dient. An dem Hebel 35 ist ein Riegel 42 mittels des Bol-
zens.48 aasgelenkt, dessen abgerundete Stützfläche 44
ge-
jen die entsprechend abgerundete Nase 45 des Abatützglie-
cles 46 wirkt. Das Abstützglied 46, welches mittels des
Klemmstückes 4? und. der Schraube 48 an den Federbügelns
37 und 38 befestigt ist, ist zusätzlich noch mit einer
lanateignase 49 versehen. Ausserdem ist das Abstüt$glied
46 mit einer-Verzahnung 54 . ausgeführt, die zur Befesti-
gung des mit der entsprechenden Gegenverzahnung ausge-
führten Sohlcnhalters 51 dient. Um eine Höhenverstellung
des Sohlenhalters 51 zu ermöglichen, ist in diesen ein
angeßenkfies Langloch 52 vorgeseben, welches den Kopf der
Befesti gungoechraube 53 aufnimt.. Als Öffner ist
ein 8-
förmiger Biigel 54 vorgesehen, der in zwei auf
der Grund-
platte 31 angebrachten Lagerböcken 55 und. 56 gelagert
ist und dessen Arm 57 gegen eine Verlängerung 58 des
Riegels 42 wirkt, während der Hebel 59 aus der Bindung
herausgeführt ist. Das Öffnen der Bindung wird nun dadurch
erreicht, daß durch Niederdrücken des Hebels 59 der Arm
57 gegen die Verlängerung 58 wirkt und somit den Riegel

solange entgegen den Uhrzeigersinn verdreht, bis die Na-

kommt.
Tritt nun am Schuh eine außergewöhnlich groBe,senk-
recht zur Skioberfläche gerichtete Kraft auf, so bewegen
sich der Sohlenhalter 51 und die Federbügel 37, 38 nach
oben, wöbei die Nase 45 den Riegel 42 und damit auch den
Hebel 35 entgegen der Kraft der Feder 41 mitnimmt. Da sich
die Schuhsohle beim Aufwärtsbewegen der Ferse am Ballen
abrollt oder sich der Schuh um das feste Widerlajer
an der
Schuhspitze verschwenkt, beschreibt der Absatz, wie in Fig.
8 gezeigt, einen Kreisbogen. Dabei nacht--das
Absatzende,

ser Bewegung folgt der Sohlenhalter 51 und die vorher et-

außer Einriff mit: dem Riegel 12 gelangt und somit das
aus den Federbügeln, den SoJUenhalter und dem Abstützglied
46 bestehende Schwenkgliau frei nach oben schwenken kann.
Sobald jedoch die Aase 45 vom Riegel 42 freikonmt,drückt
die Feder 41 den Hebel 35 in seine Ausgangsstellung suxück.
Bein $insteigen in die Hindung drückt die Schuhsohle
auf das Schließpedal 49 und bewegt dadurch den Sohlen-
hafter 51 und die Pederbügei nach unten, solange, bis
der Riegel 42 wieder Über der Nase 45 einrastet.
Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach den Fig.9-12
ist die mit zwei hochstehenden Laschen 63, 64 versehene
Grundplatte 62 mittels der Schrauben@67 auf dem Ski 61
befestigt. In die Laschen 63, 64 sind zwei nach
unten
