Electrical device powered by an electric motor
The invention relates to devices that sound an elec-
electric motor, such as rabbit mowers
or oil burner. In the case of such devices, it has been common up to now
been the finished engine: in any. Way on that
The housing of the device and the shaft with the other

Another arrangement has also become known at
which the housing of the device also serves as a bearing
shield with planes at right angles to the axis of the notor
is provided, namely: is this end shield as a hollow
cylinder formed. In the iridescent space of this end shield
there is a breakthrough for the shaft of the motor,
which can accommodate a rotor bearing. The second runner
bearing is provided n a second bearing plate, which

The invention provides an arrangement which
compared to the known one much simplified
Structure has. According to the invention, this structure is thereby
achieved that the housing part of the device on which the No-
tor is attached, with a bearing neck for receiving.
Bearings and shaft of the motor is provided. The device housing
can be made, for example, as a casting, with
casting on the bearing neck is not a complication:

The blades 6 of the lawnmower are attached to the shaft 5. In the illustrated embodiment, the rotor 7 is designed as an external rotor. This results in the further advantage that the stator core 8 with the winding 9 can be applied directly to the bearing neck, so that a separate holder for the stator core is unnecessary. The cap 10 is provided to prevent excessive contamination of the engine. The invention is in no way restricted to lawn mowers or oil burners, but it can of course be used with all devices that are driven by an electric motor. The structure with an external rotor motor is also only given as an example. The motor can of course also be equipped with an internal rotor. The embodiment as an external rotor has proven to be particularly favorable from an economic and functional point of view, however, because the increased rotor mass makes it possible greater momentum and a smoother sound achieved
