Dadurch, daß die Kanäle defg nacheinander verdeckt bezw. freigegeben werden können, ist man in der Lage, beliebig viele der durch sie gespeisten Brenner mittels des Handrades i auf- bezw. auszudrehen, indem man durch Drehen des Handrades i den Kolben k so weit hebt oder senkt, als zur Freigabe bezw. zum Verschluß einer entsprechenden Anzahl von Kanälen erforderlich ist. Obwohl bei gutem Einpassen des Kolbens k kein Gas durch die verdeckten Kanäle ausströmen kann, so kann es doch vorkommen, daß der Kolben infolge Abnutzung etwas undicht wird und etwas Gas zwischen ihm und der Wandung des Hahngehäuses a selbst in der Verschlußstellung hindurch und in die Brenner fließt, was natürlich unstatthaft ist und die gewerbliche Verwertbarkeit des Brenners in Frage stellen würde. Um diesen Ubelstand zu vermeiden, hat der vorliegende Hahn eine Einrichtung, durch welche der Gasabschluß bei geschlossenem Hahn in absolut sicherer Weise bewerkstelligt wird, indem über den Kanälen ein ringförmiger Ventilsitz / vorgesehen ist, gegen welchen sich die Stirnfläche des Kolbens k nach dem Verdecken aller Kanäle defg legt und den Gaszutritt aus dem Zuleitungsrohr b vollkommen abschließt.According to the present invention, these channels defg, which are present in any number, are arranged in planes lying one above the other.
