Description
It is known that headphones are dynamic despite their use Systems only have a limited quality inside, especially at low frequencies. To a flawless and to achieve reproducible frequency response, it is known to put headphones on the ear or ears, that the ears are properly closed (cf. High Fidelity Yearbook 1967/68, pages 87 and 88). The required good closure of the ears can only be achieved through a relatively strong pressure of the listener on the ears can be achieved. This creates inconveniences that make long wearing headphones a burden be let. As a result, the handle is bent open so that the receiver rests loosely on the ears. This creates uncontrollable openings between the ear and the headphones, which also affect the frequency response influence in an uncontrolled manner.
The basic principle of these solutions is to couple the side of the membrane facing away from the ear to the air space surrounding the listener and the head and then just put the receiver loosely against your ear. The same proposals are made in DAS 1,173,9 ^ 6 and 1,177,211. This improves the depth transmission. But these solutions all come together the disadvantage that the space limited by the listener, the auricle and the auditory entrance together with the more

The one through the resonator The resulting frequency response influences are very annoying. They greatly falsify the sound event to be transmitted.
The Irfindungsvorschlag eliminates these difficulties by the fact that the indefinable ear system is more clearly observed by chanical means and the listener is still only loosely on the ear. Bine deformation of the auricle and change in the volume of the ear canal is almost completely avoided. The mechanical means that define the ear rest at the same time determine the size of the coupling opening of the Helmholtz resonator according to the invention and dampen the effect of the resonator with the acoustic resistance of their material. In a further education, $ .gt d4e. Invention on ways to improve the transmission rate of the HoreriV.
The invention relates to a dynamic acoustic transducer worn near the ear, with sound outputs on both sides of the membrane, one of which acts directly on the auditory entrance and the other acts on the Auditory entrance only reached in a roundabout way and in which the resonance frequency of the membrane in the lower transmission »- area lies. Dadurch wird die Resonanzfrequenz des Resonators gedämpft. through the openings I.3I in the cover 1-3 and the spacer 5 according to the proposal of the invention the sound into the ear canal 6.1 of the auricle 6 guide © · The spacer 5 in this example consists of a very soft acoustic resistance material, for example a foam mesh pad. That bounded by the auditory entrance 6.1 of the auricle 6 and the front cover I.3 According to the concept of the invention, the resonator volume of the Helmholtz resonator is due to the sound-permeable thin cross-section of the spacer 5 to the listener and the space surrounding the ear is coupled with a strong damping effect. This dampens the resonance frequency of the resonator.
The sound coming from the rear side of the membrane reaches the, for example, four acoustic lines 2.6 distributed approximately evenly on a circumference through the air gap. For the sound from behind, they form a guide to the air space surrounding the listener. The amplitude of the rear sound exiting through the wave resistance termination 2.7 in it is strongly attenuated by the large distance of 2.7 around the housing to the mechanical means 5. It then reaches the auditory input 6.Jf. again, dampened by the mechanical means 5. In this way, the proposed invention largely reduces the depth extinction, which is otherwise strong in the case of converters that are open at the rear.
Die bisher bekannten Resonanzstörungen durchThe acoustic line 2.6 and its wave resistance terminations 2.7 are dimensioned so that they act as attenuation of the Serve membrane. Extensive trials with such Listeners and a large number of test persons have shown that the attenuation of the Helmholtz resonator and the strong attenuation of the rear sound of the membrane before it enters the auditory entrance brought decisive progress in the state of the art. The previously known resonance disturbances
