The present invention relates to a method of filter fabrics soiled in sewage treatment plants to remove fungus, dirt, oil, grease and clogging salts.
The cleaning of filter fabrics which are used in filtration devices provides has long been a problem. For example, there exist filtration systems in which hundreds of drum filters are built-in, with these drum filters filter fabric made of polyester fiber, such as z. B. Dacron®, or other filter fabrics. These filter systems are used, for example, for removal of dusty particles from sewage. Should such filtration systems be more effective Working manner, it is necessary to treat the filter fabric at relatively short intervals to undergo in order to restore their filtration properties to the original state bring to.
So far, three methods have been used to clean filter fabrics of sewage treatment plants, whereby it is during the warmer seasons what is required is to perform all of these three methods in turn. _ For each treatment are about 8 hours required. Accordingly, one needs to do the combined treatment a long treatment time during which the filters are out of order. Besides, the Use of costly. ^ Chemicals in everyone Treatment required. One of these treatments is to use detergents to remove oil, To use dirt, grease or the like. When carrying out a second treatment, they will peel off of salts, for example iron salts, that have accumulated in the fibers of the tissues, Hydrochloric acid or similar compounds are used. In the third stage of treatment, they become alkaline Means used to destroy a fungal growth in the tissue fibers.
There is therefore a need for a method of efficiently cleaning filter fabrics from Wastewater treatment plants that are carried out in a single treatment stage in a short time can.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch-das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren gelöst. Dieses Verfahren zur Behandlung von in Abwasserkläranlagen verschmutzten Filtergeweben zur Entfernung von Pilzen, Schmutz, öl, Fett und verstopfenden Salzen ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß während einer Zeitspanne von mehr als Λ Stunde eine Mischung in einer maximalen Menge von 72% (Gewicht/Volumen) mit derartigen Geweben kontaktiert wird, die ausThis object is achieved by the method according to the invention. This method for the treatment of polluted in waste water treatment plants filter fabrics for the removal of fungi, dirt, oil, grease and clogging salts is characterized in that during a period of more than Λ hour with a mixture in a maximum amount of 72% (weight / volume) such tissues is contacted, which is made of
a) einem aliphatischen quaternären Ammoniumsalz, das wenigstens eine Alkylgruppe mit 10 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen enthält,a) an aliphatic quaternary ammonium salt which has at least one alkyl group Contains 10 to 18 carbon atoms,
b) einem primären Alkylaminsalz, das 10 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatome in dem Alkylsubstituenten aufweist, undb) an alkyl primary amine salt containing 10 to 18 carbon atoms in the alkyl substituent has, and
c) einer aliphatischen quatemären Ammoniumverbindung mit wenigstens einer Alkylgruppe mit ungefähr 10 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, die 2 bis ungefähr 25 Mol eines Alkylenoxydsubstituenten mit 2 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen enthält, besteht.c) an aliphatic quaternary ammonium compound having at least one alkyl group having from about 10 to 18 carbon atoms and containing from 2 to about 25 moles of an alkylene oxide substituent having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms.
The anion of the above-mentioned component a) can be chloride, nitrite or the like. When Amine salts b) various salts come into question, 'for example hydrochlorides, acetates, nitrites, sulfates, Hydrobromides, hydroiodides or the like, but usually the use of the hydrochloride salt is preferable. Quaternary ammonium salts with 2 to 10 moles of propylene oxide or ethylene oxide are preferably used as component c) used. Various anions, such as the chlorides, are possible, but in Usually methyl sulfate is preferred.
In an expedient manner, the above The three components mentioned are used in approximately the same amounts. -The aim of the invention However, the goal is also achieved if these components vary within wide ranges will. For example, a mixture can be used which consists of 5 parts of the alkylene oxide containing quaternary compound together with I to 10 parts of the alkylammonium salt and 1 to 10 parts of the primary amine salt.
The mixing of the three components can be carried out in any number of ways. However, it was found that a mixture can be prepared in a particularly, expedient manner in such a way that the amine salt ^ 4n- ~ an isopropanol or 'isopropanol-water preparation'"is prepared and the other two components are" an- ' finally added, the concentration in isopropanol being chosen such that at the end of the batch there is a concentration of the constituents of the mixture of not more than 72% (weight / volume). This upper limit is determined on the basis of physical considerations, since at a concentration of more than 72% (weight / volume) of the components of the mixture, the preparation becomes too viscous. As a rule, concentrations between 3 and 50% (weight / volume) of the constituents 1 of the mixture are maintained. For example, the preparation can have a concentration of 36% (weight / volume) or 42% (weight / volume) of the constituents of the mixture.

The term "hydrogenated tallow" should be understood as meaning the residues of hydrogenated fatty acids, where it is primarily stearyl and palmityl residues, while smaller amounts of myristyl, Palmitoleyl and oleyl residues are present. Also, there are roughly the same amounts of others saturated alkyl radicals present. In this connection it should be noted that the amine compounds are produced from the acids in such a way that a nitrile is formed first, which is then hydrogenated. In this way, the nitrogen derivative contains the same number of Carbon atoms like the fatty acid residue.

It has been found that the above mixture, when used in an amount of 3 to 42 "/ o (weight / volume) of the ingredients of the mixture, can effectively clean a filter fabric and prevent clogging of the fabric by fungal growth in the If a mixture with 9 to 42 ° "(weight / volume) of the components of the mixture is used to treat a tissue, namely by saturating the tissue with this preparation and then allowing the preparation to act for a period of 4 to 12 hours Before rinsing with water, it can be determined that the filter fabric treated in this way can be used again because its original filtering effect has been restored. The preparation can be sprayed, dipped or the like Tissue can be applied or introduced into the tissue Treat drum by filling the filter trough with an aqueous solution of the treatment preparation. For example, in the usual filter systems, the trough can be filled with about 11,001 water containing 1.5 to 1.71 of the preparation, which has a content between 9 and 42 1 vol (weight / volume) of the constituents of the mixture. The filter drum and the fabric can be rotated in the water containing the treatment preparation under such conditions as if the filter drum were in operation. The treatment is carried out for a period of about 4 to 12 hours, followed by a water rinse. If the preparation of the mixture according to the invention is applied to the filter fabric to be cleaned by any suitable method, the preparation having a concentration of about 50% (weight / volume) of the components of the mixture, the treatment time can be reduced to a little more than 1 hour If the concentration of the preparation is 3 to 42% (weight / volume) of the ingredients of the mixture, then a contact time with the tissue of 4 to 12 hours should be maintained before rinsing with water According to the method according to the invention, the filter cloth is simply allowed to circulate within the filter cloth, which contains water to which the above-mentioned preparation has been added, so that the filter cloth can be cleaned over a relatively short period of time.
The water is preferably used in such an amount that the trough is practically filled is. The water contains about 0.15 to 1.5 "u of that prepared in the manner described above Preparation of the mixture according to the invention. When carrying out the method according to the invention the treated filter fabric is not only cleaned effectively, but also against it immunized from constipation due to fungal growth. The following examples illustrate the invention.
A mixture of equal parts of tallow trimethylammonium chloride, dodecylamine hydrochloride and hydrogenated tallow bis (2-hydroxypropyl) methylammonium methyl sulfate in one concentration. yon ', 42 0 ' o '* (weight' volume) of the constituents ^ of the 'mixture' is mixed with. 11001 water, whereupon .gtwa / 15.1 1 of the preparation obtained are used to fill the filter trough of a waste water treatment filter system The filter drum and the soiled fabric are rotated in the usual manner through the water containing the treatment composition, and after rinsing with water, the drum and the filter are examined to find that the filter is free of fungus, dirt, oil, grease and clogging The filtering properties of the fabric correspond to those of a new fabric.
The procedure described in Example 1 is followed, except that the preparation 9% (weight 'volume) of the components of the mixture and the drum with the Tissue is rotated for a period of more than 12 hours before watering is rinsed. The tissue is completely renewed.
