schnellen'Brutreak-I toren. Dort kommen dann etwa GaadrUcke in der Größenordnung
von ca. 120 ata infrage. -
Hilfe der a
Shaft seal for high pressure circulating fan with oil lubrication The present invention relates to a shaft seal for high pressure circulating fan with oil lubrication, in particular for use in gas-cooled nuclear reactor plants. In the latter case, helium and CO are particularly suitable. En 2, it must be ensured that the cooling circles are completely sealed to the outside and that no foreign matter can enter in the opposite direction The circulation fan so that additional measures deviating from the normal technology are necessary. This becomes the more important, the higher the pressures in the Gaakreialaufsystemen become. Since it is known that very good heat transfer coefficients can be achieved with flux pressure gases and the gas cooling in terms of neutron physics as well also offers great advantages in terms of safety, more and more nuclear power plants will probably be built in the future that use high-pressure gas cooling. This cooling technology is also particularly interesting for so-called fast broke breakers approx. 120 ATA possible . - It is also known to prevent the penetration of the circulation fans at Schmierbles in the conveyance circuit characterized by supplying a sealing gas between the #ilgeschmierten parts of the bearing and the pump wheel roughly in the middle of a labyrinth seal. This sealing gas has a slightly higher pressure than the gas to be pumped and flows in the axial direction in the sealing gap between the shaft and the housing, thus pushing back the lubricating oil. Some of the sealing gas dissolves in the lubricating oil, and oil mist also enters the gas flow flowing out of the bearing. For economic reasons, however, it is only necessary to separate these lubricants and sealants from one another and remove the to supply different density racks of the fan bearing again. With increasing pressures, however, this creates considerable difficulties, so that this aspect makes the use of very high gas pressures difficult. To remedy these difficulties, it is proposed according to the invention to provide a barrier gas flow with a higher pressure than the conveying gas within the shaft seal gaps to ensure that the gas to be conveyed is completely free of oil and to provide devices for separating the oil carried along in the barrier gas flow with the aid of a considerable pressure reduction to be arranged in the barrier gas circuit. e. This principle will now be explained in more detail on the basis of an example shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. 1 shows a schematic E cross-section through a fast breeder reactor mi t CO 2 L2-cooling. The empty space is built up inside a steel shell 34 and surrounded by a concrete boiler 28 . The actual reactor core 21 is located within it, including the steam generator 30. The flow of the cooling gas is indicated by arrows. In the lowest part of the concrete bowl is the circulating fan YI, to which the present invention essentially relates. It is driven by a fan drive turbine 33 and the reactor is started up by a pony motor 32. The live steam line and the feed water line of the evaporator (steam generator) are designated with '35 and 36. FIG. 2 now shows a section of the circulating fan 319, especially in its shaft bearing arrangement, together with the devices for lubrication and sealing against the cooling gas flow. For a better understanding, operating data with regard to pressure and temperature are also shown in this figure, but they are only mentioned as examples and do not represent any restriction of the subject matter of the present application. therefore in this example it is assumed that the cooling gas CO 2 has a * pressure of .120 ata and a temperature of 250 0 C has. Thus, this cooling gas can not escape through the Dichtungespalt on the shaft to the outside, the lubricating oil must, in this example, 130 ata, have a higher pressure at a-Umperatur of about 30 0 C. The lubricating oil is fed to a distributor groove 5 in the bearing housing via the UHL pockets 7 in the vicinity of the sealing gap 6. From there it is distributed in both axial directions through the sealing gaps 6 and 4 and flows on one side via the collecting groove 17 in the housing back to the oil reservoir B1. It has there again normal Atmoophärendruck, however, a Tempe'ratur of about 50 0 C. flows through the oil * Another Teiletrom the sealing gap 6 in the direction of the impeller 16 and then to, brush 8 from the waste disposed in the housing of he d Shaft carried away the rest of the oil is thrown from the ring 10 on the shaft by centrifugal force to the outside and collects ge in the annular space 9 of the housing, from which it leaves the lean area again. So that no traces of oil can get into the coolant circuit, a so-called sealing gas is introduced into the housing ring grooves 11 and 12 approximately in the middle of a labyrinth seal. This is of the same type as the cooling gas, in this case C02, and has a slightly higher pressure, namely 121 ata and a temperature of about 800 C. This sealing gas penetrates through the sealing gaps of the labyrinth seal on both sides and prevents it from penetrating of the oil in the direction of the fan impeller. However, the sealing gas mixes in the collecting space 9 with the lubricating oil and is partly dissolved in it. It emerges together with this from the annular collecting space 9 and arrives at the devices for the separation and separation of oil and gas. A first separation takes place in the condensation trap C2, which is equipped with a float valve. Oil and oil foam pass through the float valve at a pressure of about 20 ata and 90 0 C to the cooling device W3- The gaseous component, which consists of carbon dioxide and oil mist, continues to pass out of the condenser plug C2, at a pressure of 120 at and still at a temperature of 100 0 C to a relief valve A7 and leaves this with a pressure of about 20 ata and 910 0 C. This gaa-shaped portion flows through - now together with the oil from the condenser pot C2, the heat exchanger W3, is cooled down to about 200 C and arrives there from there into another condenser pot C3. This is equipped with a float valve and mechanical separators, e.g. Ze% itrifugaaabscheiderng impact filters made of sheet metal or steel wool. The separation of the oil mist is. very reliable at the low pressure, so that the separation of oil and gas is almost 100 %. The oil and some of the CO 2 gas dissolved in it reach the reservoir B1, in which it is further expanded to normal atmospheric pressure. The remaining dissolved CO. Gas that is released in the process can be neglected in terms of quantity and freely discharged via a chimney. The sealing gas circuit now closes again, starting from the condenser plug C3 , via a dry- running compressor which compresses the gas to 125 atm and a cooler W2 as well as via an absorption filter C4 and the inlet or channel groove 11 of the labyrinth seal of the blower. The absorption filter C4 contains, for example, activated carbon and removes the very last remains of oil from the cooling gas flow. However, since an extraordinarily good separation has already taken place in the condenser plug C3 , it is not to be expected that the absorption filter C4 will quickly become loaded with oil and must be replaced frequently is arranged outside of the endangered by the reactor radiation rooms. Alternatively, the application of Kompreasors Vl it would Oude conceivable that from the separator, C2, leaving purified CO 2-Gan of 20 ata and 200 C to a temperature of less than -20 0 C. abzukUhlen and liquefy it, to again feed it with the aid of a pump D3 DES infeed blower and the main circuit. the other In this figure Binzelheiten shown are .where ends for a better understanding of the general relationships between the seal and the therewith zueammenhär £ Difficulties of a circulating fan are useful, which is why they are described in the following section 4. The hydrodynamic Ra Diallager ' un4 3 as well as the axial bearing 2 are supplied by the N4 # ederdruck # il pump Di via cooler Wl, filter Cl and the throttles A' and A2. The high pressure 51 pump D2 delivers a constant amount of oil to the oil stuffing box. With the sealing gaps 4 and 7 , the pressure is limited to the required value - in this example 130 ata - by the transfer valve A5 controlled by the oil-gas differential pressure. The hydrodynamic thrust bearings are able to absorb both the static and the dynamic axial thrust, the latter through the tips 14 on the inside . Bearing edge and the compensation line 13 connected to the inlet side of the fan is reduced. If the blower 0 can be turned as slowly as desired by the pony motor 32 mentioned above, the axial bearings have an additional hydrostatic device in the form of a high-pressure oil supply via the throttles A4 and A3- the overflow valve A139, which is followed by an absorption filter C6 # guarantees - in the event of a - sudden pressure drop in the main coolant circuit caused by an accident, a rapid pressure equalization between the main and barrier gas circuit, which is further promoted by the solution according to the invention that the volume of the high pressure barrier gas is small. In the event of a failure of the oil supply, the oil pressure in the stuffing box, i.e. in the sealing sub-columns 4 and 69 via a high-level oil tank B2 , is maintained until the fan has come to a standstill and the Gesee penetrates through the gap 4 no damage eliciting more karfti. When the engine runs out, the hydrodynamic bearings 1 and 3 are effective, the check valve A6 ensures that the oil supply from the oil sump B2 is only used for the oil stuffing box. If the # compressor Vl for the sealing gas should fail, the blocking circuit would be shut down because the pressure in separator C3 rises and valve A7 closes. In this case, the valve A10 , which is normally kept closed by the differential pressure of the compressor flow generated at the throttle A12 upstream of the absorption filter C4., Opens and blows gas into the chimney via the throttle 11. By adjusting the throttles AB and Au. im.Einspeiaesystem ensures that no gas from the main circuit enters the barrier circuit. This would only happen if the one-way lake system failed. With the compressor V1 running, this amount of gas released into the chimney would then be in the main circuit 41. A compressor standstill would never be greater, but even then no inadmissible activities would get into the chimney, since the activity contained in the carbon dioxide of the main circuit is almost exclusively due to the very short-lived isotope N16 . In any case, the introduction of oil into the main circuit is prevented. The details mentioned in this example only serve to provide a better understanding of the concept of the invention, namely the 1 # jerk reduction of the oil barrier gas mixture and are based on the specific application. In addition, insulation measures can be provided to prevent thermal shocks. In addition to a labyrinth seal, the use of a mechanical seal would also be possible. Of course, the operational reliability of a blower can also be further increased by multiplying numerous components or by using several sealing gas circuits together through all the blowers in the reactor.
