Die Vorrichtung besteht aus zwei getrennten Teilen, einem Kartenrahmen α und einem Einsatz e. Der Rahmen ist ungefähr U-förmig, an der einen Seite zum Teil und vorn ganz offen. Die obere Seite ist durch einen daran um m drehbaren Deckel b geschlossen, von dem aus ein Stift 0 in die verschieden langen, zu m konzentrischen Schlitze von blattförmigen Kartenplatten d¹ bis (P greift, die in passender Zahl, z.B. 5, zwischen Deckel und Rahmen drehbar angeordnet sind und beim Drehen des Deckels b vermittels , des Stiftes 0, der Länge des in jeder, Platte angebrachten Schlitzes entsprechend, verschieden -weit mitgedreht werden. Diese Kartenplatten bestehen aus Metalloder Zelluloidblättern von Kartendicke und haben jede eine Aussparung von solcher Größe, daß eine Spielkarte ungefähr zur Hälfte hineinpaßt. Wird das gemischte Spiel Karten bei geschlossenem Deckel in den Rahmen hineingelegt, gegen den Deckel b gedrückt und letzterer nunmehr gedreht, so wird durch jede Platte eine Karte mitgenommen, so daß eine der Plattenzahl entsprechende Anzahl Karten k¹ bis k^T>, zum Ausgeben an den Spieler bereit, sich darbieten (Fig. 4). Der eine Schenkel des Rahmens α ist, wie Fig. 2, 3 und 4 zeigen, etwas abgeschrägt, damit nicht genau übereinander liegende Karten das Einlegen des Spiels in den Rahmen nicht hindern, sondern vielmehr in die richtige Lage gerückt \verden, wenn das Spiel beim Einlegen die schräge Fläche entlang gleitet. Jede Kartenplatte f¹ bis f¹⁰ ist mit einem zum Drehpunkt i konzentrischen Bogenschlitz versehen, welche Schlitze in den aufeinander folgenden Platten immer länger werden, so daß ein an einer mit Handgriff g versehenen Drehplatte sitzender und in die Schlitze hineinragender Stift h die Kartenplatten nacheinander erfaßt, sie mitnimmt und sie der Reihe nach in die Lagen f¹ bis /^l0 und damit die Karten in die Lagen A¹ bis A¹⁰ (Fig. 7) fächerartig ausbreitet. In Fig. 7 ist die Platte f mit der dazugehörigen Karte durch Randschraffierung hervorgehoben.
