Die Erfindung betrifft Verdampferlampen für flüssige Brennstoffe, bei welchen der Brennstoff in zwei Stufen in einem außerhalb und einem innerhalb der Nutzflamme befindliehen Verdampfer vergast und überhitzt wird. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, daß Verdampfer und Überhitzer aufrecht nebeneinander stehend angeordnet sind. Diese Anordnung vereint den Vorteil einer mögliehst kräftigen Beheizung' von Verdampfer und Überhitzer mit dem anderen, daß die Beheizung auf dem ganzen Wege des Brennstoffes vom Eintritt in den . Vergaser bis zum Verlassen des Überhitzers gleichmäßig stärker wird. Außerdem liegt der außerhalb der Nutzflamme befindliche Vergaser in solcher Weise neben dem Überhitzer, daß mehrere Brenner um ihn herum angeordnet werden können, von denen er gemeinschaftlich beheizt wird und denen er den vergasten Brennstoff zur Überhitzung zuführt.
