Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Vorrichtung, welche dazu dient, den Werkstücken von Arbeitsmaschinen eine drehende und zugleich verschiebende Bewegung zu erteilen. Vermittels dieser Vorrichtung ist es ermöglicht, das Werkstück schnell zum Angriff an die Maschine zu bringen, rasch dasselbe wieder zu entfernen und die Geschwindigkeit der Längsbewegung zu ändern. ίο Dabei kann der Druck, unter welchem das Werkstück am Werkzeug anliegt, beliebig geregelt werden. In der Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungsformen der Vorrichtung dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:
