Die Abfeuerungsvorrichtung, durch welche der Abzugskolben c in die Handhabe b eingeschoben und also der Schlagbolzen gespannt und abgefeuert wird, kann beliebiger Art sein; sie muß aber in einer solchen relativen Lage zu dem Abzugskolben c angebracht sein, daß dieser Kolben durch sie nur dann eingedrückt werden kann, wenn der Verschluß (der Verschlußkeil) ganz geschlossen ist. Wenn also der das Öffnen und Schließen des Verschlusses vermittelnde Hebel α in eine solche Lage gedreht worden ist, daß der Verschluß geschlossen ist (links in Fig. 1), so liegt der Abzugskolben im Bereiche der Abfeuerungsvorrichtung 0 und kann durch dieselbe zurückgedrückt werden, um die Spannung des Schlagbolzens und das Abfeuern zu bewirken.
