Arrangements for influencing the boundary layer on blades of Ge blowers od he turbines The invention relates to arrangements for influencing the boundary layer on blades of axial or radial fans or turbines, which are hollow and have an opening at their outer edge so that the contents of the blade cavity exposed to centrifugal force is thrown out as a result. The walls of the blades are provided with narrow slots perpendicular to the flow around the profile. According to the prior art, it is e.g. ß. In the case of hydrofoils, it is necessary to keep the width of the slot openings in the order of 0.125 mm and to arrange the slots in a narrow distribution at intervals of centimeters one behind the other. The production of such narrow slots by milling is difficult, however, and punching is impossible with conventional sheets of multiple thicknesses of the slot width. Radial ejection has already been proposed for turbine blades in such a way that holes were drilled along the blades into which the boundary layer agent could enter through small lateral bores. The suction of the boundary layer through holes does not have the intended effect (gaps). The invention aims to achieve a good suction effect without the disadvantages mentioned on turbine or fan blades, even of small dimensions, and to achieve the simplest possible manufacture of such slots according to DAS 1 222 R03.
allen Figuren in gleicher Weise bezeichnet. Fig. 1 gibt einen Teilschnitt durch

the blades are subjected to centrifugal force while they are running. The spin effect works
on the entire cavity content (incl. "slot content") of the blades, whereby a
effective boundary layer extraction; happens.

all figures identified in the same way. Fig. 1 gives a partial section

The other blade ends 6 are soldered into an angular ring 7, wherein
the scoop channels remain open. They are in with the inflow side of the fan

also as a difference in suction pressure on the blade cavity. The current is on the blades

At the same time, the air in the blades 9 is ejected.

Fig. 3 shows a view of the front end of a radial blade, in which the forged profile 11 has grooves 12 tapering to shallow at the foot, which are adapted to both the centrifugal force and the required flow profile, which have a larger cross-section on the outside than on the inside could. This is achieved by means of the grooved spaces 12, with flexural strength and centrifugal forces becoming more favorable at the same time. A thin cover plate 13 of high material quality is placed over the grooves 12 on the upper side, possibly also on both sides, and is connected to the blade core 11 by welding. Between these metal sheets 13 and the solid blade core 11, channels 12 are created, which receive the boundary layer entering the longitudinal slots 4 and eject it radially. This layer arrangement also serves to increase the vibration damping or fatigue strength of turbine blades. In Fig. 4, an axial fan with a stator 14 and an impeller 15 is shown. The guide vanes 14 are designed with a vane edge slot nozzle 10 which acts as an injector nozzle and points in the direction of flow. The boundary layers are therefore sucked back into the guide vane flanks as a result of the suction effect of the flow flowing over the rear vane edge nozzle 10. The hollow blades 16 of the impeller
Against the dynamic pressure, the separating boundary layer emerges uniformly everywhere, but without being able to form blowing jets, because the coolant and separating agent is fed to the blades through narrow throttle nozzles 20 at a higher pressure than the dynamic pressure occurring at the blade end faces at 19 The coolant separating agent exiting the front slot 19 then always flows out slowly and evenly at all points of a turbine equipped in this way, with full safety, and engages the blade profile 17 well at least on the front side. The front slot 19 can be protected by an indicated front blade. This means that the required overpressure above the dynamic pressure can be smaller. In the rear blade part 21, the separating boundary layer is sucked into the widened slots 4 predominantly inwards. According to the method described in DAS 1 222 803, these slots can be produced reliably and economically from alloys containing high nickel and chromium, which are relatively difficult to machine, by means of the embossing and grinding processes. In addition to the advantages already described, the arrangement according to the invention has above all the advantages that it provides good, reliable suction of the boundary layer, that the slots cannot clog, that the energy used to extract the boundary layer remains insignificant given the very narrow slot width.
It is also achieved a cheap mass production that turbine blades
-can become light and are no longer subject to corrosion.
