Description
standteile entfernt werden zu können. Als geeignete Verdünnungsmittel haben sich beispielsweise Wasser, wäßriges Äthanol und dgl. erwiesen.components can be removed. Suitable diluents are, for example, water, Aqueous ethanol and the like. Proven.
Die folgenden Beispiele sollen die Erfindung näher erläutern. The following examples are intended to explain the invention in more detail.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a transparent, thin polyethylene film 0.0125 mm thick was immersed in a dispersion of 0.8 parts by weight of glycerol and 0.4 parts by weight of a mixture of polyethylene oxide sorbitan monolaurate and sorbitan monolaurate in a ratio of 50:50 in 98.8 Parts by weight of water provided with a coating; the coating was then "peeled off" as it passed between two rubber rollers with a Shore A hardness of 60 under a pressure of 0.67 kg / linear cm. The coated film was then passed at a speed of 2.25 m / min through an air-circulating drying chamber heated to 66 to 77 ° C. and having a relative humidity of 2 to 5%; After passing through the drying chamber, the volatile components of the coating had evaporated to such an extent that only a layer consisting of non-volatile substances, namely glycerine and the wetting agent, remained. This layer, which contains about 10 mg / m 2 of film surface glycerine, is not crystalline, does not evaporate, does not cause the polyethylene film to swell and, in direct contact with the film, is uniformly distributed over its entire surface.
The measures described in Example 1 were repeated, with a coating solution of 1.60 parts by weight of glycerol and 0.40 parts by weight of a mixture of polyethylene oxide sorbitan monolaurate and sorbitan monolaurate (ratio 50:50) in 98 parts by weight of water on a transparent polyethylene film 0.0175 mm thick was applied. After drying, this film too had a firmly adhering, liquid coating with a glycerine content of about 16.0 mg / m 2 of film surface.

1,01 Gewichtsteile Sorbit,1.01 parts by weight sorbitol,

The film provided with a coating retained its transparency and did not feel greasy in spite of the adhering, liquid coating with a sorbitol content of about 10.0 mg / m 2 of film surface. After rolling up, the material could easily be smoothed again without any tendency to roll back.

Eine Beschichtungslösung der folgenden Zusammensetzung A coating solution of the following composition
1,13 Gewichtsteile Äthylenglykol,
0,47 Gewichtsteile eines Gemisches aus Polyäthylenoxidsorbitanmonolaurat und Sorbitanmonolaurat
(Verhältnis 50:50) und1.13 parts by weight of ethylene glycol,
0.47 parts by weight of a mixture of polyethylene oxide sorbitan monolaurate and sorbitan monolaurate (ratio 50:50) and
98,4 Gewichtsteile wäßrigen Methanols (in 2%iger Konzentration)98.4 parts by weight of aqueous methanol (in 2% concentration)
Die beschichtete Folie besaß keinen unangenehmen Geruch.was applied to a transparent polyethylene film 0.0125 mm thick. The coated film retained its transparency; the firmly adhering liquid coating containing about 12 mg / m 2 of the film surface, which contained ethylene glycol, gave the film the property of sticking to smooth surfaces when pressed against them. The coated film had no unpleasant odor.
In the same way, other polyolefin films, e.g. B. Polyethylene films with a thickness of less than 0.025 mm self-adhesive or made "snugly" if they are made with comparable, firmly adhering, liquid coatings are provided. Instead of being immersed, the polyolefin films also by spraying on, rolling on,
Brushing or painting can be provided with a coating of the type described. The amount of coating solution applied to the polyolefin film can be varied by the respective application method so that the liquid coating ultimately contains about 6 to 24 mg of polyalcohol and wetting agent per m 2 of film surface, of which about 4 to 16 mg of polyalcohol, such as glycerine, are present.
The use of the transparent packaging or cover film according to the invention is illustrated the packaging of a food, for example a piece of cheese explained. Any piece of cheese The shape is approximately in the middle of such a large sheet of the packaging or cover film according to the invention placed so that the leaf edges protrude sufficiently far beyond the piece of cheese. Then become two opposite ends of the sheet with a slight overlap of the abutting edges placed the cheese and pressed together to form an adhesive bond. After that the two other ends of the packaging or cover film in adaptation to the irregular edges of the Cheese piece by folding over the protruding ends caused by the shape of the cheese piece inwards folded and then bonded together by pressing against each other. That in the manner described A closed "package" can be opened again in a simple manner by reversing the steps described. In addition, the wrapping and unwinding can be repeated as often as required without affecting the foldability and the automatic adhesion of the packaging or cover film according to the invention in any Way is affected.
